Morning Pops and everyone. Can’t sleep so I think I’ll plan my day. Too many thoughts to get out of my head. You all don’t want to hear what I’m up to but since you’re a captive audience...

I’ll get dressed in about an hour (5am) and take my phone and pepper spray for a walk in the brisk 46 degree morning air, and when I get back home brew a cup of hazelnut coffee and grab a hot shower then run to the store early. Gotta use up a little leftover ham and I’ve got a hankerin for split pea and ham soup so need to grab a few veggies, fresh thyme and a smoked hock (maybe make a small batch of cornbread to go with it, cooked in a cast iron skillet of course). Then, it’s out to the yard to work on my landscaping project for a few hours I have to meet with my brother and his wife later to sign docs to sell their house so maybe I’ll just have them over for dinner (and I think I’ll throw a chicken on the grill with some hickory chips tomorrow so I guess I’ll get that seasoned up to too.) Great. Now I’m hungry. Sounds like a full day already along with running a few loads of laundry. I think I’ll save the mowing for tomorrow.

What’s everyone else up to today?

Before you go through all that trouble, you may want to ask your brother if he and his wife have time for dinner. Sorry, just a thing of mine. When I go see my mother for whatever reason and she just assumes I'm going to eat dinner there, then gets all upset that I didn't stay to eat the food I didn't want....You know, mom stuff.

I’ll ask of course, but even so I was going to cook the food anyway. A girl’s gotta eat and this way I don’t have to cook most if next week.

Pretty sure all the pepper spray shot at me caused my Sjogren's Syndrome.

Good Saturday morning Pops and Popsadoodles. Yesterday I went to the bank and all those people that stop to let 15 cars in were ahead of me and the scene was played out in slow motion. I wanted to get out of my car and tell the cars at the drive through "get the blankety blank out of my way!". Unfortunately, I was sitting just ahead of a sheriff. I made it back to moving traffic and caught a train at the curve to take that road. A truck was sitting ahead of me blocking me so I took the sidewalk. There was a copsadoodle two cars behind me, but I did it anyway to get my trunk out of the way of southbound traffic. Yep, I lived the dream!!!! It felt good when that cop headed south as well.

Today is going to be a surprise. I'm not sure what I'll do yet. Happy Saturday everyone!

Good morning Pops and Popsadoodles. Here's hoping for a good game today and by good game, I mean a Cowboys win. After the long wait, two losses in a row is too much to ask us after all the hype.

Morning, Pops and peeps. I went to the game yesterday and, boy am I glad we stayed until the end. What a comeback! It was a good bounce-back game for Schultz compared to last week. Y'all have a nice day.

Morning Pops and friends.

As it turns out, yesterday ended very well. It makes Manhattan this morning seem a little easier to take. Then again, I've been parked for an hour and a half. We'll see what happens when I leave here, but it's my only delivery, so I just head straight back from here.

Hope you're all enjoying the day and basking in the afterglow of a fortunate victory. (I'm talking about the Cowboys game last night, CC. Get your mind out of the gutter.)

Good morning Pops and, greetings from Yellowstone National Park.

After driving to Montana with another load of household goods, we rewarded ourselves with a trip to Yellowstone.

If you've never been, it should be on your bucket list - amazing landscape, spectacular wildlife and then there are all the geysers and hot springs. All I can say is that the early explorers that petitioned the US government to protect Yellowstone displayed an amazing amount of foresight.

Needless to say, I completely missed the game.
