Afternoon! Rough ride from Long Island to Connecticut today, on the ferry. Being tossed around like a toy. That's okay though, I just lay across the seats in my truck, and let it rock me to sleep. Felt like we went airborne a couple of times, and smashed down on the water.

Still better than driving all the way around!

On the back of the tragic news regarding Marshawn, I just wanted to say I appreciate our community here and I hope everyone shows their loved ones some extra appreciation today.

Life is precious, often too short, and truly a wonderful thing.

I can't believe he didn't realize his own worth. This is horrible, and you're right. We all need to show our appreciation toward the people we care about, so they'll know their own worth.

It's especially sad that he didn't get help in time. And at his age, just awful for his family.

Checking in now to wish everyone an early Happy Thanksgiving.

Will be busy the rest of this week and going forward and likely won’t be checking in for a while (with mom tending to some sudden health issues - ever notice how with doctors it seems every successive appointment seems to bring worse news than the prior???)

I’ll be cooking for me and ma… hopefully not the last… but will cherish the togetherness as long as I have her.
