FEATURED Morning Pops!

Good Morning Pops, regulars and all who may pop in. It's another day in paradise. Hope everyone has a great day. Remember to leave the day better than you found it, make one new acquaintance or friend, have some fun, and hug your loved ones.

Morning Pops and a good humpday morning to everyone.

This week is MOVIN'.

You folks have a great day ahead! :)

:starspin

Morning Cbz. Morning jobberone and Sarge. Morning everyone! You're right, Sarge; this week is flying by. Have a good 'un everybody.

Morning Pop's,Leon,Job,Sarge,Phrozen and all. Phrozen,I like your take on this thread. It's one where I don't think I'll ever see someone who is on my "ignore" list. Funny, opened a thread this morning and for the first time ever, couldn't read a thing about it because the op and all responders were on my "list". Didn't need to read it anyway.

Morning Pops. Morning fellas and Kristie. Morning to anybody who may stop in to check things out.

Ologan, your post reminds me of a scene from one of my very favorite movies. About 3:40 in.

Probably my favorite John Wayne movie.

Everybody, Have A Great Day!

Good afternoon, Cbz and to the best folks on the Web. It's good to see the ususals, but I must confess, I miss some of the former regulars. I suppose one must have a life outside this forum.

We're hard into Pipe Band season and I'm playing at a Senior's supper again tonight. I have to change at work, so my fellow employees (all female) will be giving me a hard time about my kilt. It's a majorly windy day here, so I'm a bit worried about it as well.;)

Here's hoping you guys are having a great day.:D

For those of you who may not have had the good fortune of ever seeing Phil play, here is a clip of him playing the bags.

Good morning, Cbz and all you miscreants. First of all, ABQ, they are referred to as the "Pipes", most assuredly not "the bags". I loved the clip. I've never seen flames as part of a piper's performance. BTW, the tune was a thing called "Black Bear" which is traditionally played as a victory march.
Secondly, I'm a drummer, not a piper, so I don't have to spend ridiculous amounts of time trying to get those bloody pipes in tune. Every time there's any variation in temperature, humidity, wind direction, or if the Pipe Major farts, the pipes have to be re-tuned. We drummers just wait and share a flask of the single malt, or a PBR, or anything else, for that matter until the pipes are tuned or until the SPCA is called.;)

Bob, a tue Scotsman wears nothing but shoes and socks under his kilt, but I'm Canadian, so no danger of terrifying the womenfolk. As for shaving my head, there's not much left on top , so I'll just have to focus on keeping the edges trimmed.

With that Piper's image burned firmly into my brain, I will wish you all a great day.

Morning Pops. Morning fellas and Kristie. Morning to all who might decide to stop in.

Phil, with regards to my lack of understanding where Pipes are concerned. Noted.

You found my evil Korean twin. You will note, however, that he has more hair than I do and, most importantly, he's not wearing a kilt.:p:

Morning Pops --Morning folks--Glad to know Phil...I feel much better about you playing on cold ,windy days.:D
