Good morning Pops and all. Love the 55 Leon. What color and engine yada. Taking my 67 Chevelle SS out tomorrow and the 70 Superbee is almost finished. I've never driven it. Enjoy that trip. Everyone have a great day.

I love the mid-sixties chevelles. My "55 is coral and India ivory. It has a 350 putting out around 325 horses. We had a lot of fun today and saw some very nice cars including a '33 Plymouth with a rumble seat and a 440 mopar engine. Sweet.

Morning Cbz. Morning everyone. I hope you all have a wonderful day in general and specifically watching football if you are so inclined.

jobberone, I neglected to say in my post above that the car had a frame off restoration that was finished about 8 years ago. However several things were not done very well, such as the front windows rattle, the sun visors won't stay up, etc. Small things like that that I will be working on myself. I kept the car looking original on the outside and the interior, but put a rebuilt 350 engine, 350 trans, front disc brakes, and power steering on it. The suspension is stock. I kept the original radio in the dash and mounted a stereo in the glove box with a 6 disc CD changer in the trunk. Here's a pic of the topless gold digger with me and my granddaughter:

Whoops didn't see the picture --Cool car Leon --but those legs need to be :D covered

Morning Pops and a good gameday morning to all.

Love that car Leon - they don't make them like that any more - that is for certain. As I said before, I use to have a 55 Chevy Wagon (not Nomad) street rod that was gorgeous and like an idiot, I sold it. It was straberry red with peral white top....... I will grab another someday. Now, I'm kind of a fan of the 58's (Chevy of course). We'll see.

You folks have a great day ahead! :)

Thanks, Sarge. I know what you mean about letting them get away. I sold a '69 camaro convertible for peanuts that's worth over $100K today. Aside from the money, I loved the car. I couldn't afford to keep it with a new baby in the house.

The "long roofs" as they call the wagons are becoming more and more popular. If you have a chance to buy one, grab it as soon as you can. Personally, I like the wagons. I also like the four doors for enthusiasts with families. Getting in and out of them is much easier.

Morning Pops. Morning Fellas and Kristie. Morning to anybody who stops in today.

It's game time, gotta go!

Have a great day everybody!

:)

Morning Cbz. Morning everyone. At least we made a game out of it. Everyone have a great day.

Morning Pops. Morning everybody. It's Monday and time to get to work.

I hope everybody has a great day.

I'm off to find trouble.

That say it best. Whe the Boy are in it until the last play, I can live with that. If our guys can stop making mistakes, then things can be different. After seeing some of the other games and the unexpected results, anything is possible in this league. Everybody here have the best day they can.:D

Love the car and the color, Leon. Cute kid.

Morning Pops and all. Everyone have a great day.

Morning Pops. Morning to all the regulars. I don't think you know how comforting it is to me to be able to come here in the mornings and just say hello to everybody. I don't even know if I can explain it fully. It just makes me feel good to know that there are good people in this thread I guess.

BTW, a very good morning to all who may stop this way as well.

Have a great day everybody.

:)

Good morning back to you and to everybody here. ABQ,I've been venturing into the Fan (grumpy) Zone and reading the frustration that seems to fester there and have come to the conclusion that maturity is a precious commodity. Just as rare is respect, which is one of the reasons I come to this thread. Pops was our mentor in that regard and I'd like to think that when people visit here, they view this particular thread as an oasis in tough times. Folks here seem to believe that the rules in place make for a better forum

After seeing the weird results from the weekend and the absolute meltdown with the Chargers, I don't feel bad about my team. I listened to Sirius/XM this morning and the Charger's fans were angry as all get-out. I do remember the early days of the Cowboys and the "can't win the big games" label that Tom Landry's teams had placed on them. We were pretty spoiled for a long time and peole are pining for those glory days.

Maybe I'm just hyper-sensitive about the bullying/suicide episode near my old stomping gounds near Vancouver, but I'd like to think that we would temper our passion for our team with some respect for those who differ from our opinions. Maybe that's why coming here and seeing the high regard for each other is just plain reassuring.

BTW, Leon, it's time for an updated picture of your grandaughter with the car. For those of us that don't own such classy wheels or have grandchildren, it's nice that you share. Don't worry about the legs. Bob's just jealous. ;) Bob, just to let you know, the gate's open.

Have a great day folks and have a cold one on me. (After supper, of course) :D
