Morning, Pops and everyone. We are finally back from Calif. and it's good to be home and to sleep in my own bed. We enjoyed the trip and it was good to see our granddaughter receive her first Communion. Have a happy day, everyone!

Leon, it's never better then coming home for me. Sleeping in your own bed, with your own family under your own roof is the best feeling in the world to me. I'm glad you are home. Hope it was a nice time.

Morning Pops and all the rest of my friends. A tornado passed over us last night but, thankfully, we sustained very little damage. However, my heart is heavy this morning because Hood County lost 6 people confirmed dead and 7 people unaccounted for. My prayers go out to them and others who sustained damage in Granbury and Cleburn.

Good morning, everyone and I echo the a/n sentiment. I only heard about the tornadoes an hour ago and I immediately recognized this as Leon's location. I'm glad to hear you're alright. Thanks for checking in. Hear's hoping things get squared away. I've seen first-hand what a twister can do and it can be awful. Here's hoping that the day finishes better than it began.

Leon, glad to hear you guys are ok! Kate heard from Sarah last night that you made it through. Nasty storm for sure. Lots of devastation.

Thanks, everyone. We don't have a storm shelter so we took refuge in a walk-in closet until the sirens stopped. Even in there, I could hear the wind and debris from trees being blown against the house. I feel very lucky today.

You're on! I'm not a good golfer even though I play fairly regularly. I'm shooting mid to high 90's with a 100 + thrown in every once in a while. I shot an 88 in California last week though, so it gives me hope I can start to bring my handicap down.
