FEATURED Morning Pops!

A very early morning to you today, Pops! Hope you are all well. Putting new batteries in the boat tomorrow and maybe installing 3 small solar panels as well. Have new outriggers and I'm going to try one tomorrow to see how it fits in the mount. Still have to rig it but all the hardware won't be in for that until Friday. Have a good one all.

@jobberone good luck on the boat out there in paradise, Doc. I just got my car back from the dealership after a month (I think I mentioned in here, about a month ago, that I was taking it in). Had to put in a new battery myself, as they drained it completely working on my baby. Put the new battery in and the daggon check engine light came back on. Hoping it's because the switch out of the battery reset the computer. Gonna call Sunrise Ford as soon as they open. Ugh :(

Anyways, small potatoes when we have our health and life. Everyone have a blessed and safe day.
 
Morning, Pops and Pen Pals. Our weather is whacko lately We are at 38 right now headed to 48, but tomorrow's high is forecast to be 76; almost 40 degrees warmer in one day. Then 75 on Sat. and back down to 38 on Sunday.

I started off pretty badly in my golf game yesterday with triple bogeys on the first two holes, but finished up okay shooting 44 on the back nine.

Took my car back in and it (the check engine light) was a "low voltage module" code readout, it happens at times when batteries die and new ones are put in. So thank the lord, nothing more.

My son is on the way to the airport as I type this, with his mommy and grandpa and grandma to go to Cancun. An island named Holbox (Sp?). They have family there, so I will be without him for the next two weeks, I will be picking him up on Christmas Day. :(

Morning Pops and Zoners. Got the batteries in the boat yesterday. Going to install the solar panels today and try to fix my running lights. The new outriggers fit the wishbones so all I have to do is rig them. I bought new hardware and will rig them myself rather than use a kit. The engines started right up BTW. One prop is dinged a bit and we're going to hammer it out. I've already cut one bunk back on the trailer and I'm going to do the port side today. Then we're ready to splash the boat and take a run offshore.

Morning, Pops and Pen Pals. Welcome to the Weekend! I have to drive to Catoosa, Oklahoma today and the forecast is for wind and 8 F. BRRRRR. It's 56 on its way to the high 70's today in Granbury.

We made it to Okla. and back yesterday. It was a long tiring drive and we got pretty heavy winds for the last 3 hours. But, we're safe and sound.


@Trouty I must have skimmed over this post before. I know how hard it is when the little one's are gone for a while, but at least he will be home to open Santa's present. I'm happy your car didn't need any further work.
