Sarge, did you ever think that this thread would still be going strong 8 years after you started it? It's a testament to Pops I suppose but also to you, in a way. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do my Friend.

I miss Pops and our morning conversations we had. Had them every morning. I am not at all surprised the thread is still going but that has nothing to do with me and everything to do with Pops, just a great human being.

Morning Pops and gang. Had a good day. Dropped an avocado tree trunk onto the house. Could have sworn I'd topped it enough. Didn't damage anything though. Six more trunks to go. Topping it at about 12 feet. Getting stronger but long ways to go, BTW.

I'm glad the tree trunk didn't damage your house, @jobberone . On the rain forest side of the island there was constant pruning and cutting to be done. Is it that way where you live too?

I'm on the leeward side Leon but I'm in a microenvironment and get more rain than anyone in this area so stuff grows like crazy here.
