No, that's @kskboys which is still insane but with hot sauce.

Let me explain, celebrating Cinco De Mayo is like Cowboy Super Bowls. I celebrate like crazy when the Cowboys win and act like the other Super Bowls never happened.
And just where are you planning to place that hot sauce?!!!!!

When I was a teenager, my dad took me to Raz's in Harper Tx, a place that dealt w/ exotics. They had a young male cougar in a cage. The owner implored me to get in the cage w/ the cougar, assuring me it was safe, that he was tame. Being young and dumb, and having the owner tell me it was OK, I did.

As soon as I stepped in the cage, the cougar started freaking out. He reared up and put his paws on my shoulders, sniffing furiously. I obviously had some scent on me that either POed him or turned him on. Not sure which is worse!!!!!

The owner then jumped in the cage and peeled him off of me. Wasn't easy.

Hey, at least I now know better!!!!
So that must be where you got your tendencies! Must've been strange being the sheep for once!

Me too. Horse racing is a thing of beauty.

My upsetter this year is Vekoma. #6. That horsey has a shot, and Last I looked was around 10 or 15 to 1.

The wifey picked the #18 as an upsetter.

We did a tri box, an exacta box, and a couple of $20 win bets on our upsetters, the 6 and the 18.

Do we know something? Not even close!!!!! We just look for something w/ longer odds that we think has a shot. Betting on horse racing is very similar to a casino. The fun is in placing a couple of bets, then rooting for your pony to come in!!!!!!
I feel cheated and it wouldn't have affected my bets anyway because I didn't have Country House in the mix, who in the hell would have had a 65-1 horse? Black eye for the Derby and stewards yesterday as I have seen muggings taking place coming out of the gate in past races that were worse than that.

Yep, yep, yep, while I look forward to #4 tonight, knowing that this all ends two weeks from tonight has me all weepy. Bad enough we had to wait additional time for season 8, now it will all be over too soon.
The last two weeks, my niece watched the show with me, and I was looking forward to her company again, but apparently her girlfriend got mad at her for not waiting to watch it with her. (even though she said it was alright beforehand)

Knowing she wouldn't be seeing her for a month or so, because she lives in St. Louis, I said, "So you have to wait all that time to watch the last episodes??"

She said no, because apparently, they Skype while they watch the show.........Ridiculous, I tell you!

I was hoping she'd eat half the popcorn.

Wait, you don't have to share the popcorn? I fail to see the problem here.

Afternoon Pops and friends. Sorry to hear about your week, Gramma. There's not a whole lot to help when weeks like that assault us. Apparently it rubbed off on the Kentucky Derby. I didn't plan to, but was able to watch the race and unusual after race. Those horses are magnificent and make regular horses look like unkempt mules. As they led the horses to the starting gate with other riders and horses, it looked like some of the racers were trying to hit on the other horses. I watched as each horse was introduced with other pertinent information and thought I'd seen the most beautiful horse alive until they showed the next horse and then the one after that and that. All the jockeys walking to the horses too me straight back to the Wizard of Oz. The mud had me worried and I prayed they wouldn't break a leg.

Game of Thrones and the popcorn is all mine?
th

The night is dark and full of flavor.

I read bits and pieces of tonight's episode of GoT has been leaked on line. The people that saw it were very upset, some probably signing up for the Night's Watch as we speak. I hope it's not that upsetting, but we do have favorites.

I read that as well but they didn't mention what exactly it was but it sounds like someone got whacked and it's not like HBO to get stuff leaked, they're not Apple, for crying out loud!

When you look at what the objection was about and couple that with the comment from the jockey that his horse spooked because of the crowd noise, it's hard to blame the stewards when you see how close that came to being a tragedy on live TV. That jockey on War of Will should be commended for pulling up or those horses click hooves and many are going down at full speed. However, he's the real one with a case because his horse lost all momentum just as he was making his move and faded to 8th.

In defense of the jockey disqualified, that noise at that part of the track has been measured at jet engine decibels when the horses are coming out of the last turn, that's 150,000 people and that horse was the heaviest bet. He did well to get the horse back in line considering the horse was coming out of that turn. The crime is the best horse didn't win and the second crime is because of that slop, we didn't get the best race, good horses disappeared. I dislike off tracks and will usually not bet them but this was the Derby and not raining when I placed mine. Then the sky opened up and I heard God say "CC, what did I tell you about gambling"?

I've got to admit, I'm nervous about tonight's episode. I'm emotionally invested in some of these characters. Season one's killing of Ned Stark and the Red Wedding didn't teach me a single thing. HBO had better go easy on my feelings!

And to think, the rest of us only heard thunder. I'll just take thunder as a sign that God's talking to you.

Me too.

Horses in the lead take sideways steps all the time.

Maybe it's a symptom of the extreme correctness we're attempting to establish in this country.

Morning, Pops and pen pals. I forgot all about the derby because I was mowing my back field. My gdaughter was sitting on my lap steering the lawn tractor when I saw a copperhead snake. Unfortunately it got away into the the deep grass we hadn't mowed yet before I could get off and kill it. Never did see it again even when we mowed the rest of the grass. I dvr'ed GoT and will watch it today. Have a great day, Y'all.

Yelling is more like it and does He have to start every conversation with "how many times do I have to tell you"? I just answer as I always do "You made me, You should have made me more obedient".

Good morning Pops and those feeling they should get a day off after a sad GoT episode. And what the hell? Ghost doesn't get a hug from Jon Snow? This is what happens to people that engage in incest, they neglect their pet Direwolves. Snow is just pissed because Ghost didn't come to see him when he was dead. "Hey Jonboy, I'd have come to see you if I'd thought you were just sleeping".

OK, you workers, get busy and get past this Monday quickly and don't forget to wish everyone you meet with a "Good Monday to you (mam or sir), a fine day, isn't it"? And you will leave them with a finer Monday and yourself as well.

UT at Austin pays high dollar for young copperheads. They milk the venom.

Morning Pops. Morning Fellas and good morning to anybody who stops in on this Monday Morning.

Good Monday so far. Hope everybody here is having a great Monday as well. Getting ready to go get some lunch here in a few. Think I'll head out and grab some Chick-Fil-A.

Mother's day is coming up guys. Do yourselves a favor, don't screw it up. Take an extra hour to think about something cool for the Wife and your own Mom if you are lucky enough to still have her around and go out and get it squared away. Not only is it a nice thing to do for them, it's gonna make your own lives a lot easier. Be smart!

Jobs, Leon, dbrp, Xelda, zrin, Trouty, ksk, RGV, Coach, RWB, Ranching, SW, John, Jan, Corso and Colo, hope you all had a great weekend!

Everybody, enjoy the rest of the day!

Good evening Pops and friends. Today was doctor visit day and I made the most audacious spectacle of myself possible. From the way everyone after the second nurse treated me, I have a feeling there's a bunch of new notes attached to my file. I take it as a good thing since my doctor has backed off to twice a year instead of every 3 months. If I'd have know, I would have acted up sooner. Not my fault that I'm a needle phobic and known fainter. Who in their right mind puts the young and inexperienced over stabbing patients? I tried to show her where "some people" have had decent luck, but she found a spot with at least a hundred more nerve endings. Then she wanted to shove it deeper into the vein and wiggle it around. Oh hell no! I took my other hand off my mouth and barked "Don't do that!". (I also learned they have smaller vials for big babies.) The needle came out right before I threw my hand over my heard and yelled "I'm coming Elizabeth". Don't judge but feel free to use my tactics to get out of excessive medical torture.

I know it well. I don't know the last time I came back from one of my follow ups without a blown vein (which my boss will inevitably refer to as my "Thor" vein.) I go to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics for all my oncology work, and while I've got them to thank (behind God) for my being here, it is a teaching hospital so I always seem to get a student either in the lab or that starts my IV for my CT contrast. Last June they went through the tendon sheath. Talk about pain. That sucka went rock hard and hurt for a good 5 months while it healed. I'm hoping this June they will finally move me to yearly visits from twice a year. I may consider some of your tactics...
