FEATURED Morning Pops!

Morning Pop's,Leon,JB,and all who zombie in later. Glad to hear all who made it out of Sandy's destructive path unharmed. Good to see pics and video's of New Yorkers trudging back to the grind. Resilient folks! We are planning another trip to NYC in early December for a few days. All should hopefully be semi back to normal, although some poor folks around there won't recover for a long time,if ever.

Morning Pops. Morning Fellas and Kristie. I hope everybody enjoyed the Halloween or as best as possible for those in the NE.

Week is running down so we are coming up on a honeydo weekend for me. Not complaining, just saying.

:laugh2:

Everybody, have a great day.

:)

Good morning, Cbz and the same to all Zoners. I'm hoping all are safe and that things can move on. I saw the video of the Jersey shore and was struck by how much sand had been deposited inland and the total devasation. Some before and after pictures show how much movement of homes occured in the storm and it is apparent that they will not recover for a while. I'm just hoping people can make it to the point where they get power and water back into their lives.Without the essentials, what passes for an inconvenience on day one becomes critical and life-threatening pretty quickly.

As far as Halloween goes, I had about 40 kids come to the door, which was close to the amount that my wife budgeted for candy. They were cute and all well-behaved. One little girl came to my front porch, brushed off the snow, sat down and told her mother that she was "done". Apparently, my house was at the end of her route. Her mom told me that she had been going hard for 40 minutes, but the cold and much walking on little legs had taken their toll. My dog enjoyed the kids and the feeling was mutual. Some families who had moved to another part of town came by lst night and I got hugs for treats from a bunch of really cute little gaffers.

I hope everybody's had a good expereince with the trick-or-treaters and that you all will have a great day.:D

Live out in the middle of the country, in the middle of 12 acres. My place is fenced and gates closed...Knock on my door and I rack a shotgun...Cuts down on visitors and my candy bill.

Morning Pops. Morning to all the usual suspects and also to any who might make there way in today.

Hope everybody is well this morning. Looking forward to a weekend. Lots to do this weekend. Heading up to my Uncle's Ranch to help him get a few things done this weekend. He's getting a little older, like all of us. Will be a nice time, with a little work in between.

Everybody, have a great day!

:)

Good morning, Cbz and good mornng to everybodyelse here and wherever. Bob, just remember that, if you get "TP'd", I am unarmed.;)

ABQ, the weekend sounds great. We can look forward to (hopefully) above freezing temperatures. That would allow for a few last-minute outside chores. I look forward to some outside time.

Take care, all and have a great day.:D

No PBR in Texas????? That's not normal.

Morning Pop's, JB, Leon, Sarge, and all. No PBR in Texas??? since when??? Back in my wild drinkin' days, PBR was it.....because it was dirt cheap...and tasted like dirt, too! Has Texas "upgraded" since the last time I imbibed, 28 years ago?
