Morning Pops and all. Missed a few so I hope everyone is doing well. Up to my proverbial bottom lately but I think the big guy is draining the swamp. Hope everyone has a great day. It's been cool here and my walks have been very nice except for the snakes in the road.

Jobb, make sure you carry a big stick! For the first time since we moved here eleven years ago, we had two people bitten by timber rattlers last summer. People forget there are rattlers around, either the eastern diamondback or timber. The Crocodile Hunter used to film some of his rattlesnake episodes just over the border into the NC mountains.

On a lighter note, my Shiitake mushrooms have finally begun making an appearance. I inoculated the logs over a year ago, and was about to give up on them. We had fresh mushrooms in our dinner last night....and I'm still here this morning!

Good morning, Cbz, Zoners. Gambit, sorry to hear about chris Kelly. You always hope that peole are able to get it together when they grow up. Overdose deaths are such a waste. Everybody enjoy your mushrooms, stay away from the snakes and have a great day.:D
