For a guy who never uses social media Romo picked an odd time to use it. Essentially says he is out the door, yet no resolution yet on trade or release, a trade needing the leverage of the Cowboys possibly hanging on to Romo I would think. Some weird chess play going on it seems.

That's true. It could be done were just waiting on Romo's physical possibly??

Broncos insist they are completely comfortable with Seimian and Lynch.
They say its not remotely a consideration to trade for him.

This may be why Houston seems to think they can just wait

From everything that has been on going in the media since yesterday, Romo was told he was being released today. That is probably the reason for the timing on the video. Seems like the team is second-guessing their original stance and trying to get something for him.

The thread has lost it's steam. May not make it to 100 pages now.....

It's going to be a sad day when Romo officially suits up for another team. He, along with Witten and Ware were the heart and soul of this team for a decade.

Hopefully he finds success with his new team, just not the ultimate success...of course, that would be saved for us.

That is what people in NFL circles want. There is a difference. Houston is in quite the pickle now.
I disagree. HOU's decision to trade Osweiler was obviously independent of the Romo situation, or else a trade would have been announced by now. I'm sure they are hoping they can sign him as a free agent, but they are not banking on it.

Here's what we know: Denver and Houston both fancy themselves as contenders if they had a good QB. The only two QBs out there who are starting worthy are Tony Romo and Jay Cutler. If I'm either of those teams, I don't want to be the one who ends up with Cutler, cause you're not winning anything with them.
Cutler can't go back to Denver. They'll just go with the kids.
Can Houston go Cutler? That'd be pathetic. Cutler as a Jet? Sounds right.

I would give Houston a timeline. Tell them "We want a first by tomorrow at 8:00. If that doesn't happen, enjoy Jay Cutler " and then hang up the phone
