I know ... but who knows anymore ... LOL
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...ppolo-instagram-goodbye-appears-to-be-a-hoax/

For about an hour on early Friday morning, social media was abuzz with an apparent goodbye to New England from Patriots backup quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo. Did Garoppolo’s post mean he had been traded?

Apparently not. According to multiple reports, people close to Garoppolo say he’s not on Instagram at 4 a.m., and the post appears to be a hoax.

Hmmm yet another source claims a patriot source said no comment when asked about Jimmys trade .... the plot thickens ... or not ...

I am cool with having fun, do it all the time.

When you make a claim on actual NFL news though it is customary to provide a link, I found the tweet so thank you for providing where you heard the information.

This will get unraveled pretty quick either way, maybe once Jimmy wakes up!

Pats know what they are doing. They will wait it out where as we usually jump the gun. It still amazes me how good the pats are ate doing this. Garapolo will be horrible anywhere he goes and the Pats will get a first and a second.

BIGGGGGG STRETCH, ok, good morning....

Dallas: "OK Houston, we have your offer of a 3rd round pick, let me mull it over and get back to you"
(ring, ring)
Dallas: "Hey Denver, your offer of a 3rd round pick is too light, if you want Tony, you need to do better, we have a better deal"
JJones (to kiddie jones): "psst, Denver's pick is earlier, isn't that better? and I thought we were doing right by tony and sending him to Houston?"
child jones: "SHUT UP when I am on the phone you old buffoon"
Denver: "yeah, we are out"
NFL Network: "The Dallas Cowboys have traded Tony Romo to the Houston Texans for their 3rd round pick in the 2017 draft. They state they had better offers, but wanted to do right by Tony and trade him to where he wanted to go."

Denver should flip with Dallas in the first and give a 3rd rounder. Dallas would then have pick 20, 60, and 82. Then they could trade back from 20 for more. Denver is the team with 12 picks. Denver is nuts if they let Houston have him.

All that sounds nice but Jerry is going to let Tony pick where he wants to go. Houston getting rid of Osweiler like that tells me they are freeing up space for Romo. They know he is going there.

Market determines value. How valuable is a Super Bowl vs a first round pick? Houston and Denver ate in the market for a legitimate QB for a legitimate run at a Super Bowl. One will flinch.
Believe me you, I would love a 2. I just don't see it happening. Hopefully, I will be pleasantly surprised.

In other news relative to Tony Romo
Many still mistakenly claim that Houston no longer has a 2nd round pick in 2017 to use in a trade as they supposedly gave it to the Browns in a trade earlier Thursday when in fact the 2nd round pick they gave was actually 2018's and Houston still has their 2017 2nd round pick .. this has been yet another public service announcement in all is quiet on the wire

If you're going to get a pick that high it would be in 2018 not 2017. Any team trading for Romo would want to protect themselves by making that pick conditional. They can't do that in next month's draft.

This type of response is maddening. You are quick to kill Jerry for a move you don't like, but offer zero credit when he does. Jerry could pull a first round pick and it won't be good enough for you.
Right....I was just saying its doubtful. if he pulls it off i will fully give him credit

So...does something happen today? Thinking it won't go longer than today, either way. Don't think Jerry has the patience, but I was wrong once...

As much as I hate seeing him go to Houston it will be hillarious. Most of thier fan base has ripped Romo apart for the last decade. I will be on the edge of my seat waiting for thier 180 and ready to call them out on it. Little know fact: Texan fans spend more time posting about the Cowboys than thier own team on social media. They are obsessed with Dallas.

Fish is saying Jerry called Mort about possible trade situations to create a false narrative about Bronco and Texan interest in a trade scenario with the hopes of creating one.

He thinks it is dangerous to yank Romo around after making a gentlemans deal to release Romo yesterday.

Just passing it along!

Either way no rush to release/trade Romo.

Houston I'm sure wants an experienced QB for next year, and well Romo fits the bill the best.
