Ok so they took Dez out of the game, why can't we take the other team's stud receiver out of the game. Our receivers are the only ones who get taken out of the game by "rolling coverage."Marktui;4827471 said:Broaddus today said that coverage was rolled to Dez a lot. That's why Romo went the other way.

Isn't that when you trot out the next WR up and play him?
T.O, Roy Willams and now Dez. it's always some one's fault other than Garrett or Rono. the two guys who have now lost 9 out of their last 13 games. and they have lost12 out of the last 18 with Romo as the starter.GoCowboysGo;4827492 said:We traded up for this disaster? Vert frustrating, I used to hope he would figure it out...that it was lack of a senior year, lack of training camps, etc. But I think it's clear, he's just not the brightest star in the locker room. He's no Pearson or Irvin.
First off, we've taken other teams' big guys out all year pretty much except for Brandon Marshall, and most of his stuff was catch and run, which really isn't dictated by coverage.Mr Cowboy;4827479 said:Ok so they took Dez out of the game, why can't we take the other team's stud receiver out of the game. The reason they take Dez out of the game easily is because he only knows like 3 plays. He can't run in motion or out of the slot.

Just as things are rolling downhill coming off a string of tough losses, you've got "prominent executive officials" leaking negative stuff about your controversial star WR. Nice!

I don't believe it. Have any proof?

Jaguars free-agent bust Laurent Robinson returned from his concussions in Week 9 to operate as Jacksonville's No. 3 receiver.
He played 45 snaps, third behind Cecil Shorts' 60 and Justin Blackmon's 58. Although the Jaguars would take a significant cap hit to release Robinson after the season, it's worth noting that his "five-year, $32.5 million" contract contains no guaranteed money beyond 2012. He could be released in the winter.

Without "rewinding" the games, seems like he only runs three or four plays. When he does something different, he messes up and is out of position and seemingly undermines Romo by not being in the right place at the right time on the field.
He's totally unreliable, I can't imagine how Aikman would have dealt with him? He might have been cut long ago under the Jimmy regime.
