Jethro doesnt understand that. But I'm with ya.

this is a reality check to the ignorant fans hoping JJ will "take control" and the like.

pathetic

STAY OUT OF FOOTBALL OPERATIONS JERRUH

Phillips has a 48-39 overall record. This guy will turn our defense into the monsters we want them to be.

I hope Mort is wrong. Phillips would be a good dc but he sucked in denver and buffalo as a hc and i woudlnt want him as our hc ever

Yuck. Hope not.

I would look forward to even Rosie O'Donnell head coaching the Dallas Cowboys in 2007 rather than see Coach Almighty back at the helm.

On that we disagree. I am fine with Parcells staying if he does what he used to do and coaches his butt off. He's coasting and that offends me.

1. If a coach does indeed coast...I may be

Ticked
Mad
POed
Frustrated
Aggitated
Irritated

But somehow I just don't think I would be "offended" by that.

2. You know if someone called me a name...I may be offended
If someone called a family member a name...I may be offended
If someone did something to me or a family member...I may be offended.
If someone goes on some racial tirade...I may be offended.
There could be many things that happen and I may be offended.

A Coach that does not live up to my expectations does NOT offend me.

Actually...I may be offended that you are offended....no offense meant.:laugh2:

You want him as the DC. Umm.. Ok maybe. You want him as a head coach. We should just commit suicide!

Do you agree on Rosie head coaching or the hope of a number of fans not wanting him back at the helm? As you I am actually more put out that he is coasting but also vexed that he pulled this stunt last year and excised an increase and contract extention out of the process. To add insult to injury he is deliberating even longer this time around.

I am a big fan of Jerry Jones normally but he is in my doghouse as well. He may be in some gamesmanship process with Parcells but he is responsible for Parcells being able to waffle as well. This process disregards the concerns and even feelings of the fans who invest themselves financially and emotionally into the team perhaps for entire lifetimes.

He should still be our coach. I will be very upset if he decides to call it a career. He is still the best man for the job and, there are no candidates out there this year who are "can't miss" guys. I know most people don't want him back but the only way I see us not improving off this year is if Bill doesn't come back!

Not a sexy choice for sure, but it could be worse.

If we brought in a good OC and offensive coaching staff, I think it would actually work pretty well. Our D would be top 5 for sure.

I have no doubt that Jerry put this out there for Bill to get whif of it. Bill isn't going to let Bum Jr. put the finishing touches on this team. There's no way Bill will let someone take over this team and win big next year...with something he spent all this time building up. That would only stain his reputation worse than leaving now - especially if the person taking over isn't a 'Parcells' guy'. Jerry wants Bill to plant the seed and have bill either drop the duece or get off the pot.

i dont know why people are freaking out, it could be a LOT worse than Phillips and he has had pretty good success as a HC. One thing for sure is that he would turn our 3-4 into a real 3-4 agressive D, THAT EXCITES ME!!! Better than another mediocre year with Tits McGee...

I really need some of what Mort is smoking.

No bull, he must have been with Vick tokin up before Mort got him to the airport.

He probably was talking about how the 3-4 really benefits Dallas. The conversation probably went like this:

Mort

Well Mike, I have got to tell you that 3-4 defense for the Cowboys did them some justice. Just look how many times they got to you and Manning this year.

Vick

Yeah, it really did them some justice at the end, diffently against Seattle, and it really impacted the organization that's why we got Mike Zim my man.
I was really thinking yall get the rumors out, we are in the running for Ricky Williams, Quincy Carter, and Julius Peppers, oh and not forget my man Mike McDengy, he pick me off like four times this year.

Mort

Well I think that Coach Wade Philips should end up in Dallas because San Deigo Defense was really good this year. Im going to get that rumor started right away.

He drops Mike Vick off, Mike Vick gets out of the car with the muchies eating some of Terrell Owens popcorn, , once he was done, that knew something was wrong when he was walking, :mummy: , when Vick came up he gave the cop a, :D , and the cop gave him :money: , and this how it ended :cop:.

Then Vick was sent on his way with himself. :holmes:

It won't matter they won't win big next year with either one of these guys.

How about.....Rex Ryan?! Currently the DC for the Ravens.....Then I'd bring in an experienced, seasoned, yes a "re-cycled" coach like Dan Hennings as the OC who wouldn't be a "threat" to a young HC like Ryan.

You're like a 16 year old girl.

To just blurt out something like this.

Shows no thought process, just an immature reaction/response.

You really have to do better, pal.

Chill! It's just the offseason, ferchristsakes.:D
