I have no idea how the judges will ultimately decide on this case, but I know it boils down to two questions:

1. Was this a kangaroo court?
2. If so, is the NFL allowed to have a kangaroo court?

The NFL is allowed to suspend any player for any reason, providing they aren't violating discrimination laws.

The issue here however is that the NFL may have violated the protocol that is agreed upon in the CBA which must be abided by before they can suspend a player.
