The cap is rising at a stupid rate and players decline faster than expected. Restructuring is a common practice to free up cap to "win now". Unless Prescott gets his leg destroyed next year, restructuring him won't be an issue as he's a "core" player.
I hear you but isn't that the issue they're talking about now about being all in and how they pushed money down the road and how it has to be eventually paid and it takes up space from getting other players. I say just front load all deals, and ONCE SAID PLAYER declines, the back end of the deal is much much lower and affordable!!

Pushing more money into the future, let's just take the hits now and continue to build a weak team, later on we can get back to the glory days!! Schoon, when's the last time you've even heard from that kid, not a fall back plan at all. Moving Hunter to TE full time would be a better option than schoon
You're a fan or a troll? Give it a rest and let the grown ups talk.

MIcah's value is not what it was; his late season no shows and playoff disappearance means he simply cannot command the trade value that would make it worth it

Now IF we could get a really stupid GM and sodomize him like Jimmy did to the Vikings that would be something

but the chances of anyone else in the NFL being that dumb plus big and little enos trying to make that kind of deal means it just ain't going to happen

Dallas has committed to overpaying their drafted talent because AI says it’s the safest financial strategy. Free agency is too risky in their estimation.
