Most Embarrassing Dallas Team in History!!!

I will be 45 years old this year and I've been the world's biggest Cowboy fan since I've been old enough to know that football actually exists (since I was about 8 or so). To me, this team is the most embarrassing Dallas team during my lifetime. I actually had more respect for our 1989 1-15 team. At least they had an excuse of not having any talent. This team is the most ill-prepared team in history and it plays with absolutely zero enthusiasm.

We have NO running game. The QB that we all throught to be our savior is never going to be anything more than an average QB. He makes poor decisions and does not realize the situations he is in. Lately he looks no better than Bledsoe and he's making the same mistakes Bledsoe always made. Our defense may be the worst in the entire NFL right now. We make every QB we play look like Joe Montana. We have players that continually talk and not show up on the field. This past week Newman spouted off about walking the walk, but he got toasted over and over and over today.

The coaching staff has to go and we have to start from scratch. This season has turned into worse than a disaster. I wish we did not have to play another game because we will get annihilated. Maybe that will be a good thing if we get embarrassed in the playoffs. At least maybe many changes will be made. I'm through with this team for the year. Four weeks ago we set at 8-4 with a two game division lead and 3 of our last 4 at home (including lowly Detroit). Well, threee home losses later we are what we are. Right now we're among the worst NFL defenses in history. We had 5 sacks today and we still got toasted in the air. That shows that not only is our front 7 terrible, our secondary couldn't cover my 14 year old daughter. Botton line: I'm just disgusted.

I have not been around as long as you but I could definately choose one of those Campo years to be the most embarrasing.

I agree with every word. As far as heart or lack thereof, this team IS the worst. This is terribly disappointing. They have collapsed before our eyes.

This game almost ranks with the opening day loss to the Iggles.

We gotta hang our heads low today.

A national day of mourning for the Cowboys.

I disagree, last year's team was more embarrassing.

This one is second to worst.

At least they played with heart and desire. This team looks like it wants to be someplace else.

No, I don't agree. Not that I'm happy, but 1-15 is more embarassing IMO. Also, to judge Romo's career based on today's game when the OL was terrible and he was asked to carry the team, is a mistake IMO.

I don't remember any of Campo's teams laying down like the 2006 and 2005 squads.

It is only embarassing when your expectations were dashed.

But this isn't the "Most Embarassing Dallas Team in History!!"--sorry.

What it looks like is this was an average team that couldn't cope with a little adversity.

We did not get crippled by injury.

We just were not as good as we all thought.

I've been watching for 41 years.

This team ranks right up there with the most embarrassing. In fact, it may very well be.

Ya see, for me, it's about expectations.

The 1-15 team meant nothing. We all knew what that was about. The team was torn down to be rebuilt.

The Campo years were bad...but we all knew what to expect then too. And ya know, I don't remember Campo teams quitting. Bad as they were.

The embarrassment about this team comes from the lack of effort and not having the balls to close out the deal.

Three years under Parcells we had good to very good starts after 8-10 games...three years under Parcells the team couldn't step up and faded in December.

For me, that's damn embarrassing.

I thought Bledsoe would start every game and we'd be 8-8 , miss the playoffs and have no idea if Romo could play or not. Having Romo at qb, going 10-6 and making the playoffs is all gravy as far as I'm concerned. We have several overated players on defense that are getting exposed, this comes as no surprise. No matter how pathetic we're playing or how far we backed into the playoffs we are in the playoffs. Sure as hell beats 5-11, 5-11, 5-11.

the 3-13 was terrible and so was the 1-15 team, but with th 1-15 team you could see improvement over the course of the year...by seasons end we were competitive in alot of the games even though we didnt have much talent...I knew we'd win soon with that staff

this team is just the opposite...we get worse every year as the year wears on and we were truly pathetic at the end of this year...we have alot of talent on this team but it doesnt show up on the field

we have too many games right now where you say "this is just embarrassing"

You are right.

They just lost out.

I am fully in touch with the disappointment.

I am very disappointed.

But to prance about calling attention to yourself by saying this is the worst Dallas team ever is more than a little clueless.

Nothing, to me, beats the loss in the opening game to an expansion team Texans.

There are levels of embarassing.

1-15 is embarassing, but so is 9-7 all the while blowing a two game lead in the division and not to mention losing your last three games at home!!!

Throw in the fact that New Orleans probably could have scored 60 points.

The Eagles came to two town minus their best pass rusher and offense player in Kearse and Donovan and kicked the Cowboys tails.

The Lions came (yeah the Lions that were contending for the #1 pick overall) came into our house with the division still on the line and kicked our tails.

Yeah, that is about is embarassing as it gets when you allegedly have a playoff team.

I'll be 37 in 2007 and this is the most disgusting team I've ever seen. To have the talent we have and the coach we have, we have TO/Witten and Glenn and cannot consistantly put up scores.

Parcells has had ample time to assemble an offensive line and we're in worst shape 4 years later. Our defense went from a 4-3 with munchkin line backers (that had a 10-6 record) with a loser crack head QB, to a 3-4 (fat slow linemen and line backers) to a weak legged can't break tackles running back, back to the 4-3, this is just disgusting.
