The embarrassment about this team comes from the lack of effort and not having the balls to close out the deal.

A disappointing loss, sure. The most embarrissing, that is going a little to far.

I'm not talking about just today's loss. I'm talking about the team and the season as a whole. We're not just getting beat, we're getting embarrassed and look like a team that have never played a game before. The defense is so lost that I don't think they could stop a good college team. Do we ever stop anyone one on third down? It doesn't matter if it's 3rd and 15, we still give up the first down over and over.

I don't remember any of Campo's teams laying down like the 2006 and 2005 squads.

I would like to see what Campo could do with the same talent? Still do not think Campo is head coach material, but the same things Campo was crucified over BP gets a pass for.

I would like to think if Dallas knew how to draft when Campo was coaching (lets be honest Campo was not calling the shots in the war room) that he could do at least what BP is doing now. Which aint much.

this team totally dwarfs that 1988 team when it comes to talent and players with probowl ability or potential...

the 88/89 teams were some of the least talented in NFL history, you cant say that about this bunch

I thought Bledsoe would start every game and we'd be 8-8 , miss the playoffs and have no idea if Romo could play or not. Having Romo at qb, going 10-6 and making the playoffs is all gravy as far as I'm concerned. We have several overated players on defense that are getting exposed, this comes as no surprise. No matter how pathetic we're playing or how far we backed into the playoffs we are in the playoffs. Sure as hell beats 5-11, 5-11, 5-11.

Well, we're not 10-6 since we couldn't beat the Lions at home. We're 9-7 and we're only in the playoffs because the NFC is so terrible this year. The fact that 12 of our 16 games were against the pathetic NFC only makes our 9-7 record look worse.

In fairness and I am a critical one, there is always a lottery like chance that BP could find redemption in the playoffs. However, that would come as a shock to all.

This team is not doing anything to make anyone think that it could happen. Of course when you are in the playoffs and you are still alive.

I do agree with theme of the original posts. This team is pretty embarassing for a playoff team.

By the way, I didn't say this was the worst Dallas team in history. I said it's the most embarrassing. Big difference. Like many others have pointed out, this team has much, much more talent than some of the other bad Dallas teams. However, they're clueless, gutless, and just don't care. It's pretty obvious to me based on how they act on the field. We have a lot of big talkers with a lot of talent, but no brains or desire.

I agree with every word. As far as heart or lack thereof, this team IS the worst. This is terribly disappointing. They have collapsed before our eyes.

This is the most pathetic Cowboys team ever, don't look at the record, look at the overall achievement of the team, or in this case underachievement.

The lack of heart on this team is unbelievable.

For the 1st time in my life, I'm ashamed of being a Cowboys fan today.

I am fully in touch with the disappointment.

I am very disappointed.

But to prance about calling attention to yourself by saying this is the worst Dallas team ever is more than a little clueless.

First off, I don't prance. Second, I could care less about what you think about me. I'm talking about a football team. Then again, by the looks of your avatar and sig, I'm sure you do a fair amount of prancing.

Well, I'm a late 40's guy. My problem is not with the team. My problem is, for the first time in history, the guys running around out there with the stars, aren't a TEAM at all. That's the sad part.

10-6, 9-7 doesn't make any difference to me, both are better than the 8-8 I thought we'd be and we know Romo can play. This has been a successful season unless you thought this was a 13-3, 12-4 type team. I didn't think that.

If we were 13-3 would you be saying we're only in the playoffs because the NFC is pathetic?

Anybody that claims they would pick a 1-15 team over a 9-7 team going to the playoffs in this day and age of parity is simply being a drama queen.

This is a different NFL than is was back then.

Change your Depends and go watch the golf channel, Old Man River. The rest of us are gonna be cheering on the Cowboys in Seattle.
