By the way, I didn't say this was the worst Dallas team in history. I said it's the most embarrassing. Big difference. Like many others have pointed out, this team has much, much more talent than some of the other bad Dallas teams. However, they're clueless, gutless, and just don't care. It's pretty obvious to me based on how they act on the field. We have a lot of big talkers with a lot of talent, but no brains or desire.

and you are right...with the talent this team has, what was expected, how healthy this team has been all yr and the way the schedule played out, this is absolutely the most disgusting team in our history

its an embarrassment of epic proportion...Parcells should have dignity and resign as soon as our season ends next week...he's been paid a ransom to restore the luster on our franchise, and instead all we see every yr are laughing stock type efforts and results

Jones has got to make changes, and those changes need to start with sending Parcells into retirement

The QB that we all throught to be our savior is never going to be anything more than an average QB. He makes poor decisions and does not realize the situations he is in. Lately he looks no better than Bledsoe and he's making the same mistakes Bledsoe always made.

I like the way you can be so sure about this, what else does your crystal ball say?

Many of the moves BP makes appear to be out of spite. Our luck he will stick around another year out of spite.

Anybody that claims they would pick a 1-15 team over a 9-7 team going to the playoffs in this day and age of parity is simply being a drama queen.

This is a different NFL than is was back then.

Change your Depends and go watch the golf channel, Old Man River. The rest of us are gonna be cheering on the Cowboys in Seattle.

Quit popping your pimples. You're causing brain damage.

Detroit out rushes Dallas, that says it all.

With their 2nd string oline and a back who couldn't make our team a few weeks ago. Pitiful!

On the nosey.

What was once conviction, is now mule like stubborness.

What was once confidence, is now arrogance.

This isn't the same guy.

His strength was his coaching staff. Always was.

He came here and took the "absolute power" approach to things. There isn't one person on that staff that challenges him.

That's not a good thing.

Maybe because Parcells the idiot keeps playing JJ over Marion Barber.

Even IF you're one of tose who believes that Parcells ruined JJ, it's obvious to everyone that Barber is more productive.

So the more productive guy should be in the game.

If Barber doesn't start next week (which he won't) we won't have ANY type of running game next week either.

There is a bright side.

Next week the trip to Seattle will be a chance for some redemption.

I can only speak from my own biased perceptions, but this team has certainly been on a roller coaster ride this season. Ups and downs. Losing at home to an average Lions team is brutal. Beating an undefeated (at the time) Colts team was huge.

Who knows what will happen. Consistency is certainly not the norm in Dallas.

Exactly. Parcells doesn't deserve the dignity of being allowed to resign. He should be flat out fired and sent into a forced and humiliating exile or let him go coach Eli & the Giants.

The biggest mistake Jones made was hiring him. We needed a young, hungry guy that would have come in and totally scrapped the crap we had and build a new team from the ground up. We ended up with a bunch of bondo patch jobs on a 1988 Geo Storm.

Exactly.

I made this point to a buddy of mine the other day.

We're better on paper, but on the field I actually think last year's team was better.

Just because you go up and down throughout the season doesn't mean the season will end that way.

The Cowboys could (and will) very end up finishing the season on this downward spiral.

I don't expect them to win in Seattle simply because they've been up and down this year and they could be up this week.

Well ya know, I have only disliked Parcells for the past three years.

I've disliked Jerry longer.

When the signing first was announced I was kinda upbeat.

And then it hit me, "Wait a second. This was Jerry's decision. How can it possibly be right"

BINGO.

The killer was the 2004 season. What on earth these two guys were thinking is beyond me. That roster was a joke. It was the personification of Parcells' thinking..."We'll have a bunch of veterans who will pay mistake free football which will more than make up for inferior athleticism."

Uh. Not.

We wasted that entire season.

Hey...the season isn't over. If the team makes a run in the playoffs, we'll all feel differently.

It's just no likely to happen.

I've been watching for 41 years.

This team ranks right up there with the most embarrassing. In fact, it may very well be.

Ya see, for me, it's about expectations.

The 1-15 team meant nothing. We all knew what that was about. The team was torn down to be rebuilt.

The Campo years were bad...but we all knew what to expect then too. And ya know, I don't remember Campo teams quitting. Bad as they were.

The embarrassment about this team comes from the lack of effort and not having the balls to close out the deal.

Three years under Parcells we had good to very good starts after 8-10 games...three years under Parcells the team couldn't step up and faded in December.

For me, that's damn embarrassing.

True.
If you qualify todays performance as shameful and embarrasing, then I don't know what to tell you.
Parcells has not won a season finale for us.0-4.
Its not how you start,it's how you finish.
His record is pitiful in December.
Everytime this team has a chance to make a statement, it fails miserably.
Go away Bill,just go.

Our defense was better with Scott Shanle, Glover, Fujita, Ellis. Henry shouldn't be playing. He is dead slow right now.

Spears is a bust! Hopefully some new coaches or scheme change can rejuvenate his career.
