Most helpless moment as a Cowboys fan

The Minnesota playoff game against Brett Favre and Sidney Rice was pretty painful

Calvin Johnson game. Talk about "can't stop him"...

Also the Dickerson playoff game where he rushed for a trillion yards against us.

I may be off on some of this but 2 games. 38-0 to the St. Louis Cardinals on MNF. I think it was Otis Anderson who ran all over us. 44-0 to the Bears. I believe it was the season they won a SB. Bonus pick…the Jackie Smith drop in the EZ game.

Wasn't there a game where Micael Vick just did Michael Vick things all over the Cowboys? I feel like it was a Monday night and he was just doing whatever he wanted.

The damned drop by or TE in the SB and Dwight Clark’s catch.

I think for me its when Philthy won their first SB in 2017.....Their empty trophy case was our collective ace in the hole as Cowboys fans, when trash talking with eagles fans. I had a co-worker at the time who was an eagles fan, and I just kept tellin him all year they'd never win it all, even when they got all the way, I was so confident Brady would mop the floor with them.......ugh, Im just so glad KC denied them a 2nd.

Watching Emmitt Smith's rushing record be the focus for two straight years. While the team declined.

That 1998 Thanksgiving game against Randy Moss and the Vikings...still haunts me to this day. The most disgusted I ever felt as a Cowboys fan. Watching the most dominant performance against the Cowboys I had ever seen. Knowing there was nothing they could have done to stop him on that day. Knowing that he could have and should have been a Cowboy.

Other moments contend, like the 44-0 shutdown against the 85 Bears. But the Moss game is the one that still hurts the most.
All those years carrying this around, good lad. tsk

But odd choice, Odd Fellow, when, as you say, the Bears also come to mind, also Jackie Smith breaking me young heart.
The No, No Danny Game. The endless loops of The Catch. Now two successive --- bitter --- losses to the 49ers, but last gasps by an inept leader Deek...

But I am carried away with remembrances of bitter winters. Yey, I suffer for me team. I drank the Kool Aide and helplessly follow. O misfortunes!

Who were the Dallas QBs in tha game, chap?

Easy for me, January 10th 1982 NFC Championship Game 'The Catch' as it's become known vs the 40 Slimers. I just knew the game was over. Dallas lost and I became a life long 49er hater.

The only other time I've felt loss like that was in 2001 WS when NYY lost to the D-Bags on that luck bucket bloop

Going against rookie RGlll. We had no answer. Ruined our thanksgiving and then concluded our season. Agonizing

The Ice Bowl, Craig Morton’s interception in SB V, Jackie Smith’s drop and Pass interference call on Benny Barnes in SB XIII, The Catch, hiring Chan Gailey, Dave Campo, Wade Phillips and Jason Garrett as HCs, the Joey Galloway and Roy Williams trades, the 2009 draft, the 2016 playoff loss to GB…the annual “State of the Cowboys” presser with Jerry talking complete non-sense.
The UnCatch.

Can't beat the refs.

@ the 2000 Ravens. 27-0

Not the most heartbreaking, but was easily the game that sticks out in my mind as the most lopsided.

We didn’t belong on the field with them and that historic defense.

We were meat for the grinder

A big one for me was Danny White breaking his wrist.
6-2, Walker, and Danny White with the best QB rating of his career. All over with the snap of a wrist.
And he was never the same after that.

Tony "scrambling" like an old man in a *preason* game, getting crushed from behind, and that was it for 2016 and his career.
Even as I saw him just *starting* to scramble:
