Is anyone else ready to test someone else on kick return? I've seen Turpin run right into guys instead of trying to avoid them. I mean he does have the speed to get to the outside and blow past guys right?? Maybe try #34 back there, see what's happens or even Tolbert. We can't say he hasn't been kicked to, because he has several times .
After 1 incomplete year no lol

Nah, kick return is fine. The only other guy who would do better is Tony Pollard, and he's not getting that duty. I hear what your saying Coogi, but Turpin is doing a good job playing mistake free football...I trust him.

Dude, This is not an experiment.. With Turpin.

A kickoff returned for a touchdown in 1.4 percent of games and just 0.27 percent of the time.
So
Coogiguy03,...Since This is the case then all Kickoff/Punt Returners are an experiment..

Just saying, you have know idea the field perspective for a returner on kick offs and punts if you have never seen it from their perspective.
It's like getting shot at and trying to avoid the bullets.

Not sure Pollard would even do better.

I agree. The kid gives us a weapon we hadn't had. At least we have a THREAT 2 take it the distance.

We just won 3 out of 3 games and 2 of those rather handily. I don't really want any changes made right now. Jmo.

He’s arguably the top return threat in the NFL.

And because of that, teams are punting higher (and shorter) or using the sidelines to avoid him getting a return...so the Cowboys, in general, are getting better field position.

Just delete this thread please. LOL

But I do love me some Coogs, though he'll come up with some doozie head-scratchers sometimes.

You know it’s bad when the OP doesn’t say anything after posting the thread lol

People underestimate the difficulty and importance of fielding punts cleanly. Turpin is excellent at it. He will break a long one before the season is over. It's not easy.
Think op is just annoyed that he fair caught a perfectly returnable punt, I think he did that Bc he was running up and it’s kind of scary tbh. I did it once
