Exactly that - Die Hard. The original. Sequels are not a "remake", Einstein.

Now go ask the same question to the person with The Godfather answer, Mr. Genius, and meanwhile I'll throw out another ORIGINAL NEVER REMADE film that DID have SEQUELS for your continued confusion on the topic of this thread - Alien.

Regarding the topic, the guy that made The Fly(80's) wants to remake it. Problem is, it was already a remake.

Remake of a remake...

Silly Hollywood.

I can't see a remake of It's a Wonderful Life. Hollywood doesn't have an actor that can do it justice.

I wish they would re-make Die Hard, but this time Bruce Willis dies while making it.

No...the Lost Boys is one of my fav films. Still one of the best vampire flicks around.

Any movie can and should be remade as long as it's smart and entertaining.

See Star Trek.

In the vein of a couple of other threads.

the Goonies

Please leave this alone, there's no reason to screw with it.

Jaws

No, no, no, for the love of God no.

A Clockwork Orange

Don't **** up perfection.

Yours ?

I disagree.......I want Stephen Spielberg to do a JAWS remake...with all the new technology and CGI, his movie would be awesome. Have Richard Dreyfuss play either Quinn or the Chief.

But I agree with you on Goonies and A Clockwork Orange.

I think they should never remake The Wizard of Oz, Mary Poppins, Gone With the Wind, The Ten Commandments, Ben Hur

That's not a remake though....technically it's a sequel.

Technically it's a prequel. Lots of "remakes" aren't actually remakes.
