There will be no debate on his HOF choice, even for the Cowboys hating media that votes.
1st time ballot, unanimous voting.

I wish I could share your confidence. Witten means more to the Cowboys organization than the NFL. He'll be lucky if he gets in within the first five years of his retirement.

That's good advice. It comes from experience. So... where's the advice about one day not signing for another team, within your own division, employing a run scheme that doesn't play to your strengths?

I'd advise any RB in the NFL to take the money. You see why he did it now? What happened to him is exactly why you take the money, especially in the NFL, and especially if you're a RB.

Time to jump into the time machine! Let's journey into the future and hear what the Pro Football Hall of Fame Board of Selectors are saying! Let's listen in, shall we..?

Selector #1: It's been five years since he retired. I'll like to place Jason Witten's name into consideration for the next class of enshrinees. Any objections?

Selector #2: That's a stupid question.

Selector #3: Wait? Wut?

Selector #4: That's the dumbest question I've heard. And I hate voting for Cowboys.

Selector #5: You be illin' fool!

Selector #1: Well. Everyone seems in agreement and there are no objections. Next name is Terrell Owens...

Time machines are cool.

It's likely he would've been paid the same... or more... in Oakland or Jacksonville.

Look at these stats, these alone gets him in. And the NFL rule is 5 years before consideration, after retitement.

#10 all time in receptions, #2 all time for TE's
He should move into #5 all time passing Owens. Probably #6 though, as Larry Fitzgerald may very pass Jason.

Though #32 in yards, well, still a pretty great accomplishment for a TE even. He should move into the top 25 this year. I think he is 2nd among TE's though in yards

Not to mention his blocking as well as what he meant to Romo and the team.
The play against the Eagles, where he ran like 50 yards without a helmet, only to be tackled around the 5, gets him in alone...LOL...the play they made, yet another rule from a cowboys player / play for.

I was very critical of Murray when he left. Not so much because he left bit it was who he went to. I do truly believe that Murray will always be a Dallas Cowboy in his heart. I'm glad he went Tenn because I can root for him again.....

not significantly more, and he went to a situation he felt was overall better. and we don't know what those teams offered him, so I won't base my opinion off hypotheticals.

That's fair not basing anything on hypotheticals. I was simply pointing out that Murray's options for a significant new contract windfall outside of Dallas wasn't limited to Philadelphia alone.

Good advice, follow the Eveready Bunny (unfortunately, the helmet is no longer optional).

Can't be mad at DMarc for giving that advice. I was never upset at him for taking the money. NFL careers are short for RB's and you got to get it when you can.

Classy move DMarc, thank you.

Murray and McFadden = Classy

Dez Bryant = Not Classy "lets see what happens"

Murray needs to offer that advice to Gregory and Lawrence.
