gonna be a very strange shower situation sooner or later....

Not really arguable at this point.
That's fair not basing anything on hypotheticals. I was simply pointing out that Murray's options for a significant new contract windfall outside of Dallas wasn't limited to Philadelphia alone.
Emmitt's advice to Elliott:
Learn to live without that second t.
10× Pro Bowl (2004–2010, 2012–2014)
2× First-team All-Pro (2007, 2010)
2× Second-team All-Pro (2008, 2012)
3× NFL Alumni Tight End of the Year (2007, 2008, 2010)
SN All-Pro (2009)
PFWA All-Pro (2004)
CBS All-Iron Award winner (2009)
Walter Payton Man of the Year Award (2012)
Home Depot NFL Neighborhood MVP (2012)
NFL Iron Man Award (2009)
Ed Block Courage Award (2012)
Cowboys record 18 receptions in a game
NFL record 18 receptions in a game by a tight end
NFL record 110 receptions in a single season by a tight end
Second all time in career receptions and receiving yards by a tight end
10,000 Receiving Yards Club
1,000 Catch Club
Dallas Cowboys all-time career leader in receptions
All-SEC (2002)
Academic All-SEC (2002)
Look at these stats, these alone gets him in. And the NFL rule is 5 years before consideration, after retitement.
#10 all time in receptions, #2 all time for TE's
He should move into #5 all time passing Owens. Probably #6 though, as Larry Fitzgerald may very pass Jason.

Though #32 in yards, well, still a pretty great accomplishment for a TE even. He should move into the top 25 this year. I think he is 2nd among TE's though in yards

Not to mention his blocking as well as what he meant to Romo and the team.
The play against the Eagles, where he ran like 50 yards without a helmet, only to be tackled around the 5, gets him in alone...LOL...the play they made, yet another rule from a cowboys player / play for.
I bet he get's in first ballot, no problem. We is widely respected outside Dallas. 10 Pro Bowls should be evidence of that.
Demarco Murray is evil and fumbles too much. He's old, and beaten down and has nothing left. And what's up with him taking the money and running?
Maybe you and Chicken can make the pitch in front of the committee instead of Goose Gosling? Nothing is guaranteed when it comes to sportswriters and the HOF.
I'm in.
I think Goose gave up his vote. He may still be involved somehow. But I believe Charean Williams now has this vote.
Surprised Murray didn't warn Zeke that the Cowboys will use him up and spit him out by the end of his first contract.
It was Murray choice to take the big payday, I don't blame him he did what he felt was in his own best interest and the Cowboys did what was in their interest. Players wanted FA they got it and this is just part of the business of this game. Other teams are also forced to let players walk in FA.
Myself I like Murray hated to see him go but it is the business of the game
There will be no debate on his HOF choice, even for the Cowboys hating media that votes.
1st time ballot, unanimous voting.
I agree with you 100%. I just see the same thing happening to Zeke which is fine if we can get a high draft pick RB to replace him at the end of his contract.
