Murray just got booed in Big D - Video Post #33

I'm really surprised how cordial the board has been with regards to Murray's decision. You can talk about "better pay" all you want, but from all accounts Murray initiated contact with a close rival. He could have gotten paid elsewhere if he was doing the choosing, but he basically chose an ultimatum... Pay me or I'm going to go to a hard team.

Just shows how much we really don't care that he's gone, which is probably more hurtful than boos could ever be.

Both Kelly and Murray have said that Kelly called Murray. That was the least excited person I've ever seen signing a contract worth over 40 million.

I read that the crowd was chanting "Eagles Suck" during each fight break.

I bet he loved that at every break. Haha. Love it.

He' s fair game now. what did he think would happen?, Emotions are running high

I wasn't in attendance or watching on TV. So I won't feel left out.......

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pretty sure Murray would have taken a lot less to play here...maybe even 500k to 1mil per year less. That's a ton of money when your career could be over in a couple of years.
But it sound like we were WAY lower than Philly, who was also lower than Oakland.

Hate that he's in Philly when he could have had even more in Oakland and been out of our division.
That irked me.
But I completely understand why he's not here.

Why were they booing Murray, he wanted to stay in Dallas? the booing should be for the Jerry and his son, for not paying him and keeping him here.

Of course he got boo'd. The average fan doesn't care about the motive or dollar amount all they know is he signed with a division rival.

Has that Oakland story been confirmed?

sad....

dude clearly wanted to stay here, live here and raise his family, build his post-career in Dallas unfortunately he never got a fair deal from Ebenezer Scrooge. i hope everyone enjoys this new "patriots" method Stephen Jones is implementing. we are sacrificing the goodwill of our players and the family atmosphere the franchise has always been about.

If it gets us to the playoffs every year and a chance to win a few playoff games, then yes I will enjoy it.

And no, I don't feel sorry for any player making millions a year. Jones is a lot of things, but calling him a scrooge is a first.

It's just silly get over it people the Cowboys and Murray were both mutually as disinterested in each other as they claimed to be interested. Move on.

best post in the thread!!!

scrooge = stephen jones, this was his decision.

I'm not mad at Murray.

He was way better then I ever imagined.

Still.. Our roster plus his overall talent didn't warrant what he got paid.

I respect the heck out of him. His ability to impose his will on teams is something special.

I'm also super excited to move on from him because the guy just doesn't have vision.

A RB that can read his blocks will kill it in this offense.
