Murray just got booed in Big D - Video Post #33

dude clearly wanted to stay here, live here and raise his family, build his post-career in Dallas unfortunately he never got a fair deal from Ebenezer Scrooge.

I agree he wanted to stay, but he isn't worth $8M so what we had to offer really didn't matter.

i don't care that he left for more money, but it was low of him to call up chip kelly to garner interest from a division rival. that's pretty much asking for it from cowboy nation.

And that spiel about having the best chance to win was rich. Yeah, move from a team that made the playoffs and was a bad call away from the nfc championship game to a team that didn't make the playoffs and has a crash test dummy for a qb.

Skip Kelly should come on line in about 3, 2, 1...

That's the one thing I'm mad at him for. Recruiting himself to that team. I understand about the money. He deserves to get it but it doesn't mean I have to like it.

I hold zero animosity towards him following the money, but he's an Eagle now. As such, he should be boo'd by dallas fans.

Why would I be mad? He should have maximized his pay when he had the chance and he did just that. When he was here he worked his butt off, was a great teammate, and performed very well when given a chance. It's hardly his fault he was underutilized until his final year. His only sins were fumbling too much and wearing down slightly with a massive workload. He outperformed his draft slot by a mile.

Has that Oakland story been confirmed?

No exact numbers, and I assume since he took the Philly offer, well never know exact numbers of the team that didn't get him.
But Murray's camp, ESPN, NFLNW, and others all made it sound like Philly was the at best the second highest offer.
Murray went to Philly over Oakland because he thought the chance to win was much greater.
Jacksonville was in the mix too, but I've heard conflicting stories on if they were the 2nd or 3rd highest bidder.
Pretty sure Dallas was 4th.

One issue keeps circling in my mind…eagles offered $8mil and $21 mil guaranteed…we $5mil with $12 mil guaranteed….I know there's is higher BUT

GUYS!!!!! $5 mil/yr with $12 mil guaranteed is a LOT of money, only about 2% in America have such money..plus win with the Dallas Cowboys and you are set for life, your brand grows way way greater than playing any other team esp a clowns team in philly with empty trophy case…..philly fans are gonna kill him at the second fumble…Cowboys fans will adore you for life if you stick around…

Anyway..good luck to him coz I still like him…hope he shatters all records but still eagles lose :) ..God can make it happen :)

I am not mad at him. I am more annoyed than anything else. Had I seen him, I would handed him a $20 bill and said, "I heard you needed the money."

Hopefully he would have knocked you the hell out too.

Ya'll need to get over it, boo him because he's an Eagle thats fine. I sure as hell wont be rooting for him. But no need for that classless garbage counting another man's pockets. Their job as players is to perform and like anyone else they want to get paid for their performance, Dallas didnt want to pony up so he went to an organization that did.

Murray is a good guy and I loved his play here, but will not be rooting for him now.

But booing him before his has played his first down, not very classy IMHO.

I wonder who he was with, seems like he was always with other Cowboys when attending events around Dallas.
