I'm really surprised how cordial the board has been with regards to Murray's decision. You can talk about "better pay" all you want, but from all accounts Murray initiated contact with a close rival. He could have gotten paid elsewhere if he was doing the choosing, but he basically chose an ultimatum... Pay me or I'm going to go to a hard team.

Just shows how much we really don't care that he's gone, which is probably more hurtful than boos could ever be.

Agreed. If you look at our offer 24/4 you know how little we cared if he walked.

McFadden and Murray have been troubled with injuries but at least HE can outrun a LBer and doesn't fumble with 60 yards of grass in front of him.

He took less money than was reportedly on the table in order to specifically play for a division rival. And he's an Eagle now. There's no defending that.

Nice guy or not, he deserves to get booed in Dallas.

Just saw the video and I felt bad for him, which is ridiculous because he has 21 million reasons to be happy.

But, he's been with the team years and knows how much the fans hate the Eagles, going to this event was just setting himself up for this to happen. Show some sense Demarco!

I wouldn't of booed, but it's not a big deal that he was.
He signed with one of our rivals just a handful of days ago.

It's hilarious how the fan base couldn't wait to run him out of town. They don't realize his franchise records aren't gonna be sniffed at for a long time, and those same fans who under-appreciated what he did for us will be in for a harsh reality watching this team go back to leaning on a 35 year old QB with a bad back next year.

After a 20 year drought we finally found a formula that works, and we couldn't wait to run the main component out of town over a couple million a year.

We ran our offensive line out of town? Weird...

Murray was here for four years and underwhelmed for three, to the point we were already looking for his successor last off-season. We didn't just sale the franchise QB up the river. Relax.

I disagree, show some class...

Okay. Thanks for fumbling in the Green Bay game, DeMarco. It was awesome. Glad you, the Chubby Genius, and the Eagles worked out all your money problems.

That better?

Sorry, I just don't give a rat's *** about DeMarco now that he's gone. If he gets booed by Cowboys fans, then I'm sure he can wallow and dry his tears with 40 million dollars.

Don't care.

Just enjoy the good times, leave your petty bitterness behind, and move on..

I think you would have a hard time finding any player with choices not wanting to be a raider. How much less was it?
I never actually seen a number from the Raiders.

It is so clear to me that he truly doesn't want to be an eagle, which is sad because he chased the $$ like we all would in the situation.

Really easy to tell that it bothered him deeply. Which he should of expected.

:). I still like what I see of Murray as a person, but let's be real. No player who takes the money to play for the Eagles deserves any sympathy. Whatever bad befalls him professionally from here, he earned when he signed his contract.

When he gets a load of that state income tax and higher cost of living in the northeast in general, the numbers won't seem that far apart

Totally forgot about that man..that's right…I seriously don't get it .. there must be something else no one knows about…

I thought he handled it pretty well, tbh. It's all in good fun.
