I was in the camp of not paying Murray the $$ and letting him go. I just wish he didn't go to the Eagles!

I think we will end up missing him this year. He would not have put up the same numbers, but his attitude (our own Beast mode) was something fantastic to watch. His ability to block and dish out pushing hits (see Richard Sherman) really set the tone for the offense. I know many of you will say, we have a great line and we do, but the runner also makes a difference.

He has been quoted as saying he feels stronger and faster thanks to the Eagles sports science program. I wonder how it works for ACL's ;)

Thoughts?

I was never a big Murray fan, but Dallas is having a hard time replacing him. I don't think Dallas ever had serious intentions of resigning him unless it was at a bargain price . Dallas physically used him up and there is no way for Murray to go now except down.

We wanted him at $4M and when Murray balked at that, it officially ended any chance he had of returning. He isn't an elite back and easily priced himself right out of here.

I think he is a very good player and will be a very good player in Philly as well. I agree I don't expect him to get the yards or carries he got this past season. However I watched a guy who has been a hardnosed player since he was at OU and that did not change in Dallas and I don't see it changing in Philly. The guy has a great work ethic and I don't see that changing.

Since when? Last year was an anomaly for his work ethic, via Witten.

His HS and college coaches disagree with your statement. All the way down to his diet, mind you.
