I've been to tons of shows, but one that just left me awestruck was Nine Inch Nails on the 2013 Tension tour. The sound and the visuals combined to create something just out of this world. For the record, despite the albums being put together electronically, the shows are all live musicians playing actual instruments. 7 or 8 people on stage at times.

A small show that stands out for me was King's X at the Stone Pony in Asbusy Park (tiny place).

I'm not really a fan of Korn, and I've never seen them live, but their MTV Unplugged is hands down the best Unplugged I've ever seen, so I imagine they put on a great live show.

I gave a guy to work today from a distance she looked pirdy good. As he got closer I noticed her dress did not match his heels When she sat down in the back seat I noticed he had an afternoon shadow and needed to shave He had nice long blonde hair on the left side of her head she shaved the right side of his head . It's fun being an UBER driver

Slayer 1986 Mammoth Theater Denver Colorado (Reign in Blood Tour). $6.00 a ticket SRO (and WAY overbooked). The only time I ever literally feared for my life at a concert (I was 14). The fear adrenaline rush combined with the brutality of the music was an experience I'll never forget.

Ah yes. That reminds me of the big 4 (Anthrax, Slayer, Megadeth, Metallica) show at Yankee Stadium. Only concert I ever saw there since it's generally not used for that. It was pretty cool though.

I would have only driven her halfway there.

Pink Floyd, Texas Stadium. Comfortably Numb.
Wait...You were comfortably numb, or was that the only song they played? lol But seriously, was there a concert by that name, or did you see The Wall?

On an individual show basis, I saw Prince on two occasions, and those shows were as good as I have seen - energy, performances - outstanding. Maceo Parker performed with him, and it was incredible.

For one night, I would have to say the Newport Jazz Festival in 1988 in Saratoga. Performing at that festival were:
  • Mel Torme
  • Dianne Reeves
  • Larry Carlton
  • Tito Puente
  • Miles Davis
  • Carlos Santana and Wayne Shorter
  • Lee Ritenour
  • Ray Charles
An absolutely amazing day of music.

Journey '81 Summit in Houston, Escape tour, several videos from this, awesome. Foghat at Cardi's in Houston '84 maybe, probably 100 people there, really good show. Aldo Nova, Sam Houston Coliseum in Houston '83 I think, fantastic show. Van Halen '08 Dallas, best show ever because I had my oldest son with me.

I saw "the Killer" Jerry Lee Lewis, around I'm guessing 15-20 years ago when he was in Oregon at a club diner joint. It was a small setting not too large. So It was a up close personal with Jerry. I had been a fan since my teen years (mid 1980s). Seeing him sit down at his piano and hearing his trademark Jerry humour I knew, was great. He made some jokes about his former wives, etc. So hearing him play those great classics and joking between songs. This was prob my fav live performance.

Best show ever for me was Aerosmith.9 lives tour.

There is a band called Kix that always blew me away live. They were really big around the East coast back in the day.

Loudest was Jackyl.
