Because, as usual, the media shoved the top picks down our throats and most swallow.

Again.....I still don't think any of the QB's slated for round one this year were round one worthy. The draft and it's rounds are 50/50 AT BEST, IMO.

Denver had Dak in for a workout. Kubiak, ex QB mind you, AND John freakin' Elway.....they passed. Picked Lynch. Go figure.

I get what you are saying --the media creates all this buzz about players, that in turn has a lot to do where they are picked in the draft !!!!

With all that being said. Thank God we have been fortunate enough to wind up with who I think will end up being our QB of the future. This kid is the real deal and I believe he is going to be more like Russel Wilson than Choke McNabb. You can call it what you want, blind luck, great scouting, JJ intuition, I don't care. The bottom line is he is here, and from the talk of some very smart football guys, he's the real deal.

I'll call it great scouting and a lot of luck.
