Looking at our roster I have came to one conclusion and that is we have our starting 22.

QB Romo
RB Barbar or Jones
FB.Hback Fasano
Wr Owens
WR Glenn
TE Witten
OT Adams
OG Davis
C Gurodes
LG Koiser
OT Coloumbo

DE Spears
DT Ferguson
DE Canty
LB Ware
LB James
LB Carpetiner
LB Ayodle, Burnett, etc
DB Newman
DB Henery
S Williams
S Hamlin

Besides a fullback and possibly a linebacker, the starters are pretty much set. If were looking to win a Superbowl and I think that is everyone's goal this season we must have a few more gamebreakers. I know we could probably draft a Revies, Meacheum, Bowe, Posulony, etc that will come in handy in a few seasons, but not in a Superbowl run. These players will be riding the pine and learning the game. So, I look at Ginn Jr and I say watch this clip first,

I look at it like this, were in a dogfight against Philly for example, and they come with their patent 8 man Jimmie Johnson blitz and we throw that pass out to Ginn and hes gone. Next up watch this,

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tHo4988s2t4&mode=related&search=

We're in a tight game like last season against the Jags, Eagles[at Philly], Commanders when all we need is one play to put these guys away. Im betting Ginn has as good as shot as any to make it. Look at Devin Hesters influence on the Bears. Look at Reggie Bush. Lastly watch

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WGyrgqOKZLg&mode=related&search=

NOTE, everybody please watch at the 6 minute mark on this if you don't watch any at all

After watching this, I am telling you if we're looking for a guy to contribute to a Superbowl win in the next few seasons we need him. He's the jack of all traits. I beileve if he came out last season or if he was eligible two years ago, he would of went in the top 5. I am shocked he isnt a top 10 candidate. When you look at our team you say we need a punt return speacilist. He would be a fourth reciever, who can do multiple tasks of returning kicks and playing some downs at wide reciever. I know Miles Austin did the same but come on now, Ginn is a major upgrade. Ginn can take that screen and go 40 yards. What do you guys think. Im looking at a mix of Hester, Bush, Randel El, and Deion in this guy.

'nuff said.

Ever see Steve Smith play?
I'm not on the Ginn bandwagon, but 6-0, 180lbs is *not* enough said.

Ginn is really not getting enough credit for his actual receiving abilities. In pretty much every close, big game Ginn is always a MAJOR factor. Most of his crappy games were in blowouts. When you just look at career statistics, sitting out in blowouts hurts the numbers. I'm not a big fan of just taking a look at college career production, look deeper.

Oh and why look at the 6:00 mark when you can look at the 4:30 mark to see something that pretty much ONLY Ginn can do in this draft class.

I just get this sick feeling the Ginn is the next Desmond Howard... you'll remember he was supposed to be a can't-miss playmaker, too...

Yet somehow, he managed to miss... :bang2:

There is that... for every cloud, there's a silver lining...

Actually, the banghead smiley was for the prospect of drafting Ginn...

Listen why not take a chance, where are all those draft Carpenter guys, stand up and show us any highlight from last year and getting BP some water doesn't count. Listen this guy could be a bust but he has such a fantastic potential and our window is closing don't you take a shot, he's one of a kind, and he won't make #22. The folks that say don't do it, I'll show you somebody will before #22 just watch. Scouts see it, he's got" it "short, small or otherwise. UT could not cover this guy, they had an NFL secondary last year, he's big league just wait..

I'm not for or against Ginn, but why are certain people so big on him? Is it his receiveing or just that return in the national championship game? Receiving wise, his stats aren't all that great. His & Gonzo's #'s look almost the same. Ginn went over a 100 only 3 times and 2 of those were against scrubs.

Admittedly, I'm no Mel Kiper, Jr. However, when I watch Ginn, I see some pretty interesting things: 1. He seems to have excellent vision. 2. He follows his blockers. 3. Big-time speed. 4. Unbelievable ability to shift gears. 5. Finishes plays.

What does all of this mean? Well, my opinion and $1.50 will usually get you a cup of coffee at McDonald's. On the other hand, I think he could be a real gamebreaker. Is he worth a shot? Heck, yeah. Not that I think he's gonna be a HOF wideout, but I do think he'd be an awesome KR.

Just my 2 cents.

Ginn would be an exciting addition, no doubt about it. He has game breaking speed. An obvious and immediate threat as a return man. A new, improved, more electric version of Kevin Williams.

Personally, I'd rather see the Cowboys pick a starting caliber CB in the first round and to pick up a punt returning threat later in the draft.

My case for not taking Ginn:

There are more complete WR's with great speed avaliable.

You don't draft a returner in Round 1

Do we need a returner all that bad? How fast we forget how Austin performed down the stretch.

I should add, he's terrible. Waaay overrated, and his size is a huge reason he is not 1st round material.

Also, why was it that Smith took so long to get going? Broken leg(s)?

i love the fact that he is fast, quick, patient, and has a great vision. What scares me is the fact that he is 6'1'' and only 175lbs. I understand he can put on some weight but that will probably take him some time to do. He seems like on of those naturally slender people who have problems with putting and keeping the weight on (i'm one of those). That scares me becasue i see him taking one solid hit which might put him out for a long time. I just don't want the Boys to take that type of chance with thier first pick when the WR postion is so deep this year. Heck, i've been seeing him slide in a lot of mocks (for whatever they are worth) and might be available in the 2nd round, slight chance but still.

If hes there at 22 you gotta take him, you can teach route running and add some weight - but you can't teach world-class track speed. Seeing Ginn back deep returning punts and kicks next year would be more satisfying than watching Meachum/Bowe/Jarrett battle with Patrick Crayton for playin time.

yeah...we all saw what wonders were made out of Alex Wright, Ed Hervey and Randall Williams

those WR's "skills" can always be taught

Wasnt he only like one drop behind T.O. last year in 3 less games?
