Perspective?

Marriage is expensive.

You two will have so many expensive "oops" moments going forward that this will be just another funny story you tell your grandkids some day.

Congrats on the engagement, bud.

I've only been married for about a year now, but it's been awesome so far. You'll get through.

I'm sorry bro, that's rough. I remember saving up for one and picking it out(don't tell my current gf, but I still have it...). I hope you find it and if not I have this strange feeling she might just love you enough to forget about it and give you a chance to fix it, most women I've been around and loved that much, let a mistake or two slide. Good luck brother and take care.

Why would he need to fix it?

This is why I refuse to buy an expensive engagement ring for my fiance, if that ever happens. If she needs diamonds then she isn't the one for me.

Cause he feels bad? Diamonds are a ripoff, bye one and try to sell it a few hours later, your taking 50 percent maybe. They aren't rare they are controlled by a monopoly that controls how many are available, and thus creates the market value, not rocket surgery. But unfortunately most have had the idea that we need to do that to prove our love since the late 20s. No reason to kick himwhen he's down. When your in love who cares?

I just noticed that.

What's the story there? We're people using their fake internet likes to sway global economies?
Yeah right,ha. It was the drunk guys in the old beer thread that were liking each other's posts too much, apparently some thought a grand conspiracy was afoot.lol

Good read, I couldn't remember the name, but it was De Beers.

Yeah, I read that right before I bought my wife a diamond engagement ring .

I was seriously considering on of those lab crated diamonds. They say the only way you can tell them from natural is that they are forced to add a microscopic label.

Wow I had not ever read that article, strange I said 50% and so did they...I thought I was being optomistic...from what I've read and heard, it's more like it loses almost one tenth of its value over night.
Excuse me I meant to say 9 10 tenths of its value, whoops sleep deprivation can do some funny stuff to a person.
