My first and last TO thread (get on the record now)

I don't want him, but it will not stop Bill and Jerry from signing him and it will not stop me from being a Cowboys fan.

I hate the idea. Doesn't matter if I do or not. It seems pretty obvious he's coming and I will have to root for him. I have no choice. My love for the team is stronger than my aversion to all that he stands for.

My feelings exactly, so I voted #3. I don't want him here but once (if) he gets here I'll pull for the Cowboys just the same. Anyone who wants off the bandwagon can PM me, I'll be happy to take all your Cowboys attire. :)

Though I'm pretty well on record I'll say it one more time:

I DO NOTwant Owens on the Cowboys at all EVER.

Bring him in.

He can play. Plain and simple.

No one can say he doesn't play hard every down. No one can say he doesn't practice like he plays.

I'll take TO the more I think of it. But only because of JJ & BP. They should keep him in check.

Saying one doesn't want T.O. wearing the Dallas Cowboys uniform comes from people like me who maybe have an overinflated respect for it...the fact that Parcells would want to win badly enough to have a guy like that in the uniform doesn't exactly make me fear some childish taunting from my fellow fans who want T.O.

Sort of a silly poll it seems to me...how is it any different from all the others?

Don't care -

but I did come up with this little nugget, as I tried to rationalize how this could POSSIBLY work in my mind.

49ers, Eagles=cheap

Cowboys=not.

So, that's all I got. No off the field issues with TO here. Now, as long as Drew's not gay.....

.... and doesnt puke in big games :laugh2:

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo To! I will go on record, if they sign him, I do not root for the Boys until he leaves the team.

I'll go on the record saying that I want T.O.

I personally dont like T.O.'s off the field antics and his cancerous attitude towards his teamates on the field. But with that said you CANT deny that he is a big time talent that Dallas desperatley needs. They need a true #1 and a playmaker..

I'm sick and tired of watching Terry drawing double teams because Keyshawn cant seperate. Drew has too put the ball right on Keyshawn or high so he can use his 6'4" frame to body balls.

I'm tired of watching Patrick Crayton hold the ball like a loaf a bread everytime he holds the ball. I'm tired of people acting like Patrick Crayton is going to be something. The guy has above average hands with average speed. So basically he is Keyshawn 3 inches shorter and a little youger. Regardless his potential is limited based on that. I also crap in my pants everytime he returns punts because he is an arm tackle fumble waiting to happen.

I like Terry's overall game but if he gets hurt (again) and we dont draft Santonio, Chad or Sinorce we have no way to strecthout defenses and with an average line it will be dinking and dunking without any 5-7 step drops because Beldsoe will be on his with Al Johnson on his cup.

Say what you want about T.O's character, attitude, or behavior but like most of you, I want Dallas in the national spotlight again. I want them to be feared. I want Defensive coordinators to gameplan against us by having long nights at the office. Im not saying throw big money at him but if Dallas is going to be stingy with Jerrys Money then at least get something for it. We all know, Rosenhaus wont take a low year contract and will look for a big signing bonus. I say take that chance with contractual behavior clauses. Nothing would be better than to see Dallas beat the crap out of Philly on Monday Night with T.O.

Im not saying that we shoudld overlook the position in the draft. Youth is definitely a positive building block and the D is getter there. I hope we get one of the burners in the second. 3 Thirty something receivers for the future doesnt look too appealing. Thats if Key doesnt get axed. That dud Crayton is the "future" in Dallas by any means. I read posts on here making fun of Randell El and his 4.6 speed. You guys must be smoking crack. I maybe wouldnt have paid that much for a small receiver but its the big play potential in a Al saunders system is waht you guys dont get. T.O ran a 4.6 out the combine as well and I do recall him abusing Champ Bailey in Mile High.

I hope that this team has veteran leadership that a T.O would need. He is an immature 32 year old man who is narcisstic in nature. He works hard and sometimes it seems as if he puts his personal antics above the team. If scores 15 Td's a year and gives me 1400 yards to in return give a running back 1500-1800, with an offense that makes team S!@# , I'd take it in a heart beat

You have to believe that Jerry is waiting to make a splash. Lavar gone, all the kickers but Vinateri and the idoit kicker, Bentley, Hutchinson (soon) , Chavous, Pryce. I hope if the Akin deal doesnt get done that Jerry shows more money to Julian Peterson and Adam V. Because "no awareness" Gurode and Cold Sore are not going to cut it for me in such a competitive NFC east.

If any coach can do it, it would be Big Bill. Even if he doesnt want the T.O. experiment to happen, you better believe that the thought has crossed his mind.

If T.O. does come to the Boyz...I'm gonna really miss you! :laugh2:

i want him, you sign free agents to win super bowls and thats what hes going to help us do! so people cant say the boys' are just signing him to win a super bowl..BP, AND IRVIN will be able to control him...

And earlier you bragged about having more tradition and loyalty. Interesting.

Bring him in.....

He is a playmaker......shows up for games and plays hard.....

We need a difference maker and he is one...

I dont look at players as role models.........Come Sunday....perform and win and Im a happy Cowboy fan. I could care less what the players do off the field....im not here to judge.

Alot of people didnt want KJ......he was a solid addition.....Irvin caused so much trouble off the field...but the last thing I wanted was him off the team because when game day was here.....Irvin performed.

TO puts up numbers...makes a difference and will make our offence alot better.
