He'd probably accept a 1-year contract as I doubt any team would sign him to more than 1-year contract and he's probably aware of that. He's also aware that his list of options is shrinking rapidly with WAS landing Lloyd and Randle El, CLE getting Jurevicious, etc. Give him the one year to show he's no longer a nutcase. If he succeeds, then fine, we add another playmaker to an already potent O and he'll have positioned himself for a decent contract from some team after the season. If he fails, then who cares, he's gone after the season. If he starts making with the doofusness in the middle of the season, who cares, we can suspend him like TB did and we've still got quality receivers in Keyshawn, Glenn, and Crayton who were pretty productive last year without his presence.
