Collinsworth commented as well. Is he a message board hack? Yes, 3 plays in 19 seconds. Keep defending........

I am not a Garrett defender either but he did coach with some cajones this game. I was ready to string him up after that pathetic series. There is no excuse to pass 3 times there and punt using only 19 seconds. Linehan and Garrett both get the blame from me there. The first half ended much in the same way.

He didn't. But when he comments that we only used 19 seconds near the 2 minute warning and gave the ball back to Philly with a chance to win it, I think that just speaks for itself. Even you must admit that was a bad tactical decision.

If you want to go Mike Tirico and quibble about clock management let's have at it.

It's the proverbial molehill and not as cut and dry as people make it IMO. We weren't even playing with a lead at that point. Go and relook. They Feagles were running all their men near the los and bringing the house. Personally I would have been irritated if they had just run into that which would have been copping out not to lose.

They gave Dak a chance to win the game. He needs to do better against the blitz but running the ball for no yards was not the answer. You beat that by throwing over the top for big plays. Dez got 1v1 looks. Romo would have thrown another jump ball like he did at the end of the GB playoff game when they sold out on a blitz.

Garrett looked different on the sidelines this game. When camera was tight on his him he looked focused and had anger in his face. While watching him I thought what is wrong with this guy tonight.

When you're down at the 5 with the #1 running game in the NFL and a rookie QB who is struggling, you run the ball. You act like we didn't score running the ball which we did with Dak down by the goal line. Bottom line, the coach caused a 10 point swing all by himself.

I'm not sure I'd call it cajones as much as a low risk, high reward call. We're in FG range and in Eagles territory and it's 4th and inches in OT. It was a good call based on distance and field position. I'll give him credit for that.

We did run the ball in the RZ and only had success on the read option. I just looked it up outside of that our best attempt was a 2 yard run and included TFL. It also doesn't help we almost fumbled at the mesh point on the read option several times.

The Eagles stacked the line against the run and blitzed gaps to prevent our second level blocking. The passes didn't work but Dak was at least put in a position to succeed based on formation. It's simply wishcasting that running into that would have worked elsewise.

Good call -- maybe he intensity is either improving or he's simply displaying it more openly.

Nice to see his aggressive side lately, though. I've been hoping to see it for some time now.

The fake punt was cajones, miss that and we lose this game.

So is he also responsible for the 6-1 record?

Sure. I won't say that he has nothing to do with it. I will say that whoever broke Kellen Moore's leg might have had a greater impact on our season though.
