I have a feeling Marcus Spears will be as good as Reggie White....

If your reffering to the Sam Hurd comment it might be true.

How many 21 year olds can make an NFL team? Hurd has got talent and with a full offseason he will be fun to watch in training campe and preseason next year.

He had one of the better catches of the year too this past season.

I just remember guys posting wikipedia links saying that he ran a 4.06, and yes he has world class track speed but I just don't believe such numbers.

Wikipedia is notorious for being inaccurate. No way he ran a 4.06.
But he is undoubtly very fast.

It's a reported time he ran in spring practice. Not official. Here is the wikipedia article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/40_yard_dash
and here it the reference where the 4.06 time comes from: http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/story/486122p-409271c.html

Ginn, a high school national champion in the 110 high hurdles, was clocked in an obscenely fast 4.06 for the 40-yard dash during spring practice....

"When I ran my first 40, I ran a 5.2," he recalled. "Donte was running a 4.3 and Troy was running 4.6.
"Now, I'm running 4.2s consistently."
I don't think he will run that fast officially. But I would not be surprised at all to see him run in the 4.2s, which would be a record.

The guy is a world-class speed.

The guy is a world-class speed.

And his speed carries over with pads on.

Hes got that extra gear that you see in guys like Adrian Peterson, Vince Young, and Reggie Bush.

When they kick it into that last gear they are out the gate.

First off, Johnson would never make it to 22...secondly, just preferences or do you have a reason why 3 lesser WRs should be taken before Jarrett?

I never said Johnson would make it to the 22nd pick, just that i would take him if he were there and why do you consider them lesser recievers than Jarrett? There are many people who dont consider Jarrett as the #2 reciever in this draft. I just dont think Jarrett will be able to separate from nfl cbs and i would rather use a first rounder on someone who has big play ability rather than on what i consider a possession reciever. JMO

Don't worry. They miss interpet alot on this board. Like I said certain things of Marcus Spears reminds me of Reggie White. They thought I meant that he was going to be the next Reggie White.

Like I said Calvin Johnson is number two to Sidney Rice, doesn't mean that if I have the 2nd Pick I would take Sidney Rice over Calvin Johnson.

FAQ

Why would you say Sidney Rice is better than Calvin Johnson and you wouldn't draft him before Calvin Johnson? Because of the two careers. I believe Sidney Rice is more consistent than Calvin Johnson.

I just feel that from looking at both careers from High School to the last year of college I think that Sidney Rice is going to have the better career.
