Just a dreadful week. Cooper Rush stunk it up and we got blown out by the dirty birds. I’m beat down and have realized this season is over. After the game my son asked me how come our team is never competitive this season and also asked me if he will ever get to see a superbowl winning team. He also told me that he got made fun of at school the other day for wearing a Cowboys jersey to school!

What do I tell my son at this point?!?

This is sad...reading thru these comments, and it sounds like it's a normal thing now. I never thought I'd see the day so many fathers decided to not have their sons followntheor foot steps. Crazy what Jerry has done.

This is why the party will end for the Jones's. You can only alienate your core for so long. Maybe it will drive them to sell, step back, something. Best path would be for them to sell to someone who respects the legacy and wants to return it to something resembling a competitive football team.

Most Cowboy fans are beyond that. Can't see why anybody isn't embarrassed about what is on the field. But I'm embarrassed for the players more then at them. We all know it's ole Skeletor that caused this embarrassment. Embarrassment that's been going on for 30 years.

Poor kid. Tell your son to do whatever he feels comfortable doing. If he doesn't want to wear his jersey to school anymore, then tell him it's okay. Cowboys are going through some bad times right now. I would try to reassure him that there will be better days. Let him make his own decision whether or not to continue to root for the boys. No one ever forced the Cowboys on me growing up. I just decided to be a fan when I was 10 years old. Give the kid a hug from me. I hope it gets better for your son!!

I was about to say how JJ’s ego has destroyed America’s Team. Sure it is still most valued sports team but complete laughingstock on actual football part of the franchise!
