Oh, no...guys. Myles Garrett burned his bridge with the Browns.
That's gonna be so awesome and awkward to see.

My biggest fear is Romo actually telling Jerry to trade him to one certain team and Jerry says ok. Of course his agent will leak that to that team and the Cowboys will get jack, cut Romo and he goes there anyways.
Pretty sure that was the plan.Oh, no...guys. Myles Garrett burned his bridge with the Browns.

Ok, that was funny. We probably could get Garrett if it wasn't for Prescott.
Something to consider.
I hate it. Every time I hear about how much he loves him and how close to him Romo is, I see a big fat nothing coming in a trade. I could understand if he worked with him to find 5 or 6 teams, but I'm prepared for him to just cut him.Right there with you. It's not about being vindictive with Romo. It's about doing what's best for the team. Team over player. Always. I absolutely can see the owner allowing the player to get what he wants to the detriment of the Dallas Cowboys. Because...feelings and stuff.
and we'd have to package that newly acquired 2nd with our 1st and 3rd this year, and 1st next year to get up that far.I honestly think if this was a straight business deal, Romo would draw at least a 2nd.
I remember reports that we tried to trade up that far to get Calvin Johnson, but the trade fell apart when the Lions requested Demarcus Ware in the trade package.Has a team ever made such a dramatic trade up in the 1st round like 28 to 1? I mean without a move in between like the Eagles did last year to go from 13 to 2.

Probably a lot more if it's two separate deals. Romo would have to be in a deal with Cleveland to have a shot at getting something done. You might be able to convince them to take less in a trade if they are getting Romo in the deal. If it's straight picks, they probably will go by a straight chart and that gets crazy expensive.and we'd have to package that newly acquired 2nd with our 1st and 3rd this year, and 1st next year to get up that far.
That's not close to enough unfortunately. It's probably more like their 1st, 2nd, 3rd and the 2nd they acquire plus a 1st, 2nd and 3rd next year. Hell that probably still isn't enough on the trade chart. There are some media reports out there now saying the Cowboys may be able to get a second round pick for Romo.
If so, I could see Dallas trading the 28 and 60 picks (and a 2018 selection) to move up to one for Garrett. They would still have a 2nd this year and could package that and a player to move back into the 1st.
This is just speculating on my part, of course.
