MySa Blog: A few players question roster moves

What will be really interesting is when the team confronts Wade about it and he blames Jerry and when they go to Jerry he blames Wade. This way we can have a divided locker room AND a coach the players have given up on. All in one tidy little article.

Sometimes I agreed with Parcells "media and the players" philosophy.

Phillips would never blame Jerry Jones though. He's not the type.

Ya, but voicing your opinion over managerial moves (if this is even true) in a negative way is simply stupid. Nothin good can come of it.

I dunno Sarge. His teammates saying amongst themelves, "Roy's got our backs" - that's almost as good as if he could get their backs on the field. ;)

But I stand by my take that Brett Favre whines publically every year about some receiver who was cut, wasn't paid, was paid, held out, didn't hold out, or wasn't signed.

And it's "leadership".

My usual feeble attempt at sarcasm Alex : .............figured an article like the one I made up would be right around the corner.

I do think Willy could've used a different way to express his disdain. Maybe a 1 on 1 with Wade.

Maybe Roy should stop being pist off, man up and take a leadership role, instead of whinning about it.

I have to think this little incident probably gained Roy a bit more respect among the players.

Some of the posters here are just clueless.

Nothing wrong whatsoever with what Roy did. And those saying he should stop complaining and be a leader... that's exactly what he was doing. Being a leader.

You don't have to be a company man to be a leader.

I guess Parcells was clueless as well!!!!! He didn't want any players coaches talking to the media.

Umm....maybe that's why we have had a lack of leadership on the field these past few years....:laugh2:

Parcells simply hated distractions of any sort. Phillips doesn't seem to mind.;)

CBZ, Bill never fancied locker room lawyers, but there were many times over his four years players spoke up to the media about such things as needing to open things up more, or playing more agressively. Tuna got second guessed by Owens on a regular basis last year.

Players have to be interviewed - we fans demand that, and Bill's steel curtain never tried to fall on that.

I don't reall anyone ever complaining about a cut, but maybe nobody got cut anyone liked. :)

I'd be pissed off too if I was Roy and a starting Wide Receiver on an opposing team is abusing my dime back who is starting at corner..

Everyone has to speak their mind...he did, no big deal really. I like it when the Cowboys get mad...!

I think the book is still out on how many or how much of a distraction Wade will tolerate. We'll see.

That may be the case.....:D

I don't recall any players complaining about much of anything until after Parcells was gone.

If the mad carries on to the field.....I don't either.:)

Reeves will have a chance on Sunday to prove himself- and probably a few sundays after that. We shall see.

Listening to Wade during his press conference, it sounds like Wade thinks Jacques Reeves is as good as Glenn and has a bigger upside.

That's the key. The rest of this is ZZZZZZZ.
