Name me a realistic draft prospect who would have more of an impact than what Hyatt would bring to this team

Personally, I think Flowers on O and Sanders on D would do wonders for this team.

I'm really high on Hyatt myself.

I think he might be underrated. He's got height and speed.

Flowers would be a nice pick. Josh Downs is very smooth. And I think Johnston might be the best in the class..

But I see Hyatt as a late first round talent. Very interesting prospect.

Carter is dropping more because of his weight and not being able to complete drills at HIS own pro day than the driving issue. This is interview time. Everything he has done and hasn’t done shows teams what he’s all about. Unless he finds a way to show he’s already conditioning himself, I wouldn’t draft him.
The Cowboys never have a chance to draft a dominant DT. If he somehow fell they better take him, shoot they should trade up some if he falls to the 20s.

This guy just abuses DBs. Consistently 5 yards behind the corner. To me it's an easy decision if Hyatt is there at 26.

One, he'd be the 4th WR on this team. He is a talent but he's raw. Read most scouting reports on him and he has some real issues he needs to work on - struggles with bump coverage, doesn't run the best routes, had a limited route tree in college, struggles in zone in being able to find open areas to settle, etc.

If you are looking for a guy to make the most immediate impact and can step in and start right away? Probably Mayer at TE or one of the interior OL.

Give me him in the first and RB Israel Abanakanda, spelling? in the 2nd and I'm a happy camper.
We have interior OL needs. We clearly have DT issues (especially with Watkins, who wasn't even all that good, leaving).

But what we should do is plow our two best picks into a 4th WR and a backup TB.

Have to go Gibbs here, don’t you? Although we can't be completely dismissive of Robinson not being available at 26.

RB’s typically have an easier transition into the league than WR’s do. Couple that with the number of touches he would receive per game and I think you have a very skilled player with simply more opportunities to be a game changer than Hyatt would have.

Another variable to tip the scales in favor of Gibbs is injury. If he’s here and Pollard goes down, would Gibbs’ touches go from 7-10 per game to 18-22 touches? I think there’s a huge gap between RB1 and RB2 and the rest of the field in this draft, but I’m not so certain the gap between RB1 & RB2 is that wide.

Ya’ll familiar with Wally Pipp (particularly given Pollard’s contract situation)?

Understand that, but he would only make an impact if injuries occur
I'm talking about off the field and for the future.

If he's the best player, I think there's a chance they take him.

Insane.

And a project WR at that.
