If Healthy I think the Wilkerson on Ngata are valid deals that could have been made and do not seem to be over the top over paid deals at this point.

I know I get on to the complainers a lot because I think they complain about every thing to the point of no matter what would happen they would find a way to complain about it.

However at the same time you can't label everything a bad deal when there are deals made out there.

Good deals might be rare but they can be had.

Ok. I'll check back with you when we get official word on that one year deal. I'm sure the numbers will be staggering.

You do that. When you actually have the facts about the latest thing you want to ***** about. After all, contract numbers are a pretty key ingredient...

In the meantime continue losing what's left of your credibility defending a front office that's failed since Clinton was in office.

Which has zero to do with people like you whining that they're not giving out stupid contracts. Like I said, you don't even have the guts to come out with one you'd wish they had made. No balls.

And even if you come back with the numbers, if Haloti Ngata is the biggest gripe you can have, you're depearation for something to cry about has reached staggering new lows.

The Giants just gave 60 Million to an OT that isn't as good as Tyron Smith or Lael Collins. I totally approve of that signing.

As a Cowboys fan.

He had 11 sacks last year.

This team was a middle of the road team in terms of pass rush even with Lawrence. Peppers would have been a plus here.

Peppers for one year at $5MM would have been a great move for the Cowboys.

That's a good example, but I don't think there's anywhere else the guy wanted to play. Much like Brees in New Orleans, I don't think you could get the guy to leave.

that's all probably true...but the question was which offer would you match...that's been the only one I've seen so far that i would've matched.

By using last years stats yes. in the NFL you do not get old gradually you get old quickly so you are willing to give 5mm for how many sacks exactly?

Stop.

He's been extremely productive for years. He's never had less than 7 sacks in the last 5 seasons.

He's not going to go from 11 sacks last year to 1 sack this year. He's a physical freak of nature. So anyone saying they wouldn't want him at $5MM for one year is just being silly especially on a team like us that needs more pass rush help/

But stash is right, he probably doesn't want to play anywhere else but Carolina at this point in his career.

I've already given you one. Haloti Ngata.

See, I can say that without knowing the exact details of the deal because he's 34, coming off an injury and signed a one year deal. You can pretend it's a devastating cap killer but you're also the guy who was pretending yesterday that free agency hasn't even started yet while players were being acquired all across the league.

You are next level thinking.

Once the details are announced you can catch up with me and see it would have been a good option for the Cowboys. Ngata at 75% is twice as good as any 1 tech on this team.

Peppers is a 17 year vet...who has managed to stay healthy the majority of that time, last year he had a solid year and wasn't injured, also is a great locker room guy...I dont see how his play would suddenly drop off this year...5 million for a capable starter or rotation guy at RDE is peanuts.

Wait he's better than our 3 Tech turned 1 Tech because the coaching staff botched the 1 Tech position last year?

That's impossible!

These are the deals I've liked so far:

Carlos Hyde (27) -- Signed 3-year, $15M deal with CLE
John Brown (27) -- Signed 1-year, $5M deal with BAL
Nigel Bradham (28) -- Re-signed 5-year, $40M deal with PHI
Bradley McDougald (27) -- Re-signed 3-year, $13.5M deal with SEA

Waiting on this one to see the details:

Beau Allen (26) -- Signed undisclosed deal with TB

Ngata is way better than any 1 tech we have, for the life of me, do not understand way this team undervalues that position. This is a very important position to all except Rod.

Did a quick glance through free agent deals/trades and these are the ones that stood out to me:

1 year, $7 million for WR Donte Moncrief

4 years, $26 million for G Josh Kline

3 years, $15 million for DT Justin Ellis

2 years, $7 million for S Tavon Wilson

Trading a fifth-round pick and backup receiver for a seventh-round pick and DE Michael Bennett

Trading a fourth- and sixth-round pick for a 2019 seventh-round pick and ILB Alec Ogletree

Sure he is. All evidence to the contrary. You show everyone the sheer level of your desperation to cry about something, anything!

Ngata hasn't played a full season since 2011 and is coming off a season-ending biceps injury, at age 34. But you and Doc Brown go ahead and jump into that Delorean and pretend that Ngata is still some "difference maker" or anything other than a nice rotational, depth player.

And if crying over a depth player is the best you've got, your act has not only gotten old, but desperate.
