The defense is also a 4-3 so its an apples to oranges thing in the front 7.

Yeah, but in any of these stupid lists, 3-4 defenses always get the shaft, LOL. Won't matter much once that 3-4 defense is the best in the division for the next 7 years, though :D

My point was that Tiki had one phenomenal season. He is not a better back than Portis.

Tiki's had way more than one good yr, he's had several now...he carried that team to the playoffs last yr and is definitely the best all around RB in our division

Portis fumbles too much, drops too many balls and disappears far more than Barber does...plus Portis is a freaking wierdo

Tiki had one fumble
CP had two fumbles

Portis carried his team to the playoffs and won a game. Isn't Tiki the one who disappeared against the Panthers?!

Jansen is younger, stronger, better, and doesn't cheat.

Portis is better than Tiki. Tiki had a great year last year, but I don't see it being repeated. CP is a 1500 yard 10 TD back for several more years.

If you're just going LT, RT, Samuels/Jansen is probably fine. But Adams probably belongs if you're talking top 2. Adams is a better tackle than Jansen.

As for Portis vs. Tiki. You're finished. Any future argument you bring is irrelevant. Unless this is some future prognostication list, Tiki is currently the better back, regardless of what might happen in a few year. He's a better receiver, and he's been putting up monster numbers the past 4 years. He's better than Portis any way you slice it.

I admit I hate facing Barber more so than Portis because of Barber all around play be it running the ball or being involved in the passing game. Tiki always seems to come up with some game changing play when we have faced them and gets tougher late in games.

I think it's pretty accurate. If you disagree, suggest changes.

Sean Taylor? Shawn Springs? Jansen AND Samuels? Sellers and Cooley play basically the same position, and Sellers is usually only in the game down close to the goalline...you put 14 Commanders on the all NFC East...basically you think the Commanders are a 15-1 type team then, with the rest of the teams being also-rans

Tiki is such a complete back that they bring in a rookie to punch it in from less than 10 yards. CP is the better package.

Tiki has outrushed Portis 2 years in a row now. Also had a better yards per carry over that span...and has scored 22 TD's vs Portis's 16 over the last two years.

So please expalin how that choice is not pure homerism ?

They stopped doing that once that rookie proved he couldn't handle it. Tiki is the better receiver, and he's every bit as good a runner. Tiki was the second best back in the league last year, and you want to try to say Portis has anything on him? I remember Portis not being able to even score for the first what, 5, 6 games of the season? Some complete back...

And Tiki still scored more TD's than Portis over the last 2 years....

Amazing. He gets his goalline carries stolen by an enormous young back, supposedly in an effort to help keep him healthy, and he STILL scores more than Portis.

Shocking. :eek::D

Good list but I would make one change, Bledsoe over McNabb and here's why.

Given time, Bledsoe is very accurate and is the better passer. With a very solid O-Line like you have listed there is no reason why he wouldn't have all day back there.

With a poor O-Line I would take McNabb every time though.

Actually, as I think about it a bit more I think I would take Eli over both of them.

If you're going with that logic, Brunell had the best passer rating in the division last year, so why not start him.

McNabb is the best QB in the division, without question!

Suggest changes.

Spring is a questionable start, I conceded that. There are many strong corners in the division.

Jansen and Samuels are the best LT and RT in the division.

Sellers and Cooley do not play the same position. Cooley had two goal-line catches against the Cowboys in December last year.

Actually, CP had more rushing touchdowns with less carries last year than Tiki.

Shocking!

CP's role with the Skins is very different than Tiki's with the Giants. Tiki's plays were more designed for the big breaker, whereas CP gets more grind-out, tough yardage.

I can't believe of all the Skins question, Cooley would be one of them.

Fine, list him as the 2nd TE. He still made the tough catches and scored 3 TD's in a since half, and not just dinks and dunks. He ran over people.

My all NFC East team. (I'll name some backups also)

QB- McNabb, Eli
RB's- Tiki, Portis
FB's- Sellers, Finn
WR's- T.O., Moss, Buress,
TE's- Shockey, Witten, Cooley(Who would line up at H-back mostly)
OL- Petitgout, Jansen, Thomas, Andrews, Rivera

CB's- Newman,Madison, Springs, Brown,
Safety (this is hard)- Taylor/Williams/Dawkins... they are all pretty good
LB's- Ware, Washington, D. Jones, Pierce (I know I listed 4)
DL- Kearse, Umenyiora, Griffin, Spears

Kicker- Vanderjerk
KR/PR- Randel Jerk

Thank you for not complaining and making a list, but...

Snee over Thomas :laugh1:

Dawkins over Taylor :laugh2:
