Name your ALL NFC EAST team

My point was that Tiki had one phenomenal season. He is not a better back than Portis.
Tiki has been better than portis for two straight years.

Actually, CP had more rushing touchdowns with less carries last year than Tiki.

Shocking!

CP's role with the Skins is very different than Tiki's with the Giants. Tiki's plays were more designed for the big breaker, whereas CP gets more grind-out, tough yardage.

Pick a stat-line, homer

2,390 total yards, 5.2 ypc, 11 TDs, 16 plays of 20+ yards

1,732 total yards, 4.3 ypc, 11 TDs, 6 plays of 20+ yards

Pick one.

12 Commanders were on that list out of the 27 players listed!!!!!

Way to much homerism there, especially with old *** Shawn Springs, I would take Henry over him anyday of the week!!!!
Here is my list!!!!!

FB-Sellers
*Hback-Cooley
TE-Witten/Shockey
WR-TO
WR-Moss
T-Flozell Adams,Samuels
G-Andrews,Thomas
C-Rabach (he's no pro-bowler but he's the best C in the NFCE)

DE-Osi,Strahan(No replacement fo these 2, best DE's in entire division hands down)
DT-Griffin,Ferguson
OLB-Washington,Ware
ILB-Ayodele
CB-Henry, Newman (deepest position in division-Sheppard,Brown,Rogers)
SS- Roy Williams

Whatever dude, Tiki outrushed CP the last 2 years...Scored more TD's the last 2 years...But you want to argue that CP is better.

BigD, I like your list, but I'm wondering why we're even listing Cooley. HB is a position few teams in the league use, and teams in the East use FB sparingly. So why not go three wide, and have TO, Moss, Plax/Glenn

I believe more and more teams are starting to use the H-back again. Even if the guy is listed as a TE, you see a lot of TE's lining up in the FB spot, but running into the flat, or blocking while there is another TE on the line.

Fine, list him as the 2nd TE. He still made the tough catches and scored 3 TD's in a since half, and not just dinks and dunks. He ran over people.
Its because you are using him at a postition that noone else in the East uses. It would be like saying Ware is the best 3/4 OLB, but guess what? Noone else uses the 3/4 so we have to compare him as a regular OLB.

I can't believe of all the Skins question, Cooley would be one of them.

My all NFC East team. (I'll name some backups also)

QB- McNabb, Eli
RB's- Tiki, Portis
FB's- Sellers, Finn
WR's- T.O., Moss, Buress,
TE's- Shockey, Witten, Cooley(Who would line up at H-back mostly)
OL- Petitgout, Jansen, Thomas, Andrews, Rivera

CB's- Newman,Madison, Springs, Brown,
Safety (this is hard)- Taylor/Williams/Dawkins... they are all pretty good
LB's- Ware, Washington, D. Jones, Pierce (I know I listed 4)
DL- Kearse, Umenyiora, Griffin, Spears

Kicker- Vanderjerk
KR/PR- Randel Jerk

GREAT GREAT LIST, especially coming from a skins fan, you are one of the most logical ones i have ever read!!!!
Except for Eli manning, the entire list is on point and great, good good job man!!!!!!!!!

It's an all-nfc east team, and only one team in the east uses that position. Kind of like saying Steven Hawking is the greatest famous paralyzed physicist...If you're choosing from a group of 1, of course you get picked. I think three wide is much more indicative of the division.

Thank you for not complaining and making a list, but...

Snee over Thomas :laugh1:

Dawkins over Taylor :laugh2:

Dawkins is better than Taylor, and Snee is better than Thomas so why the laugh?

Dude, I'd list Ware as a DE/OLB also. I like the teams that have players who can move around. If you want win games, you don't take away almost 800 yards and 7 TD's. You find a way to get the guy in there. More yards than LJ Smith or Witten, and as many TD's as Shockey. You find a way to get the guy in there.

Guess it depends on who's playbook you use.

I used it simplay because FB is a normal position, and thats basically Cooleys position. We could scrap it and go 3 wide in which case Glenn is on there

Three out of 4 don't employ an H-back. I say it should be 3 wide and TO, Moss, Plax.

I agree with putting Flozell there instead of Jansen. Flozell missed most of the year last year but Jansen has also missed a year recently and he is not even a Pro-Bowler like Flow is.

Petitgout? Are you kidding me? You cannot include a player who they want to cut on this list. The Giants don't even think he is very good it seems. However I do think this list is more balanced. The other guy listed the whole Skins roster for the most part.
