I honestly can't understand why people don't like Hockey.

Seriously...what is not to like?

It's tough to watch on TV if you're not familiar with what's going on.

Hi definition is the best thing that ever happened to hockey, only now it's on a channel noone knows how to find. Noone's ever been able to find a real good way to broadcast hockey, yet.

But, anyone who doesn't like it, I am convinced would swing the other way if they were to go to just ONE playoff game for their local team. There is NOTHING, no sporting event, or any other event, that can even come close to that kind of excitement. Not football, baseball, basketball, anything. Hockey takes them all.

Dallas Cowboys, Colorado Avalanche, Denver Nuggets, Boston Redsox, Colorado Buffaloes

NFL - Dallas Cowboys
College - West Virginia Mountainerrs
MLB - NY Mets
NBA- I used to enjoy watching MJ and the Bulls, but for the last few years its been the Mavs.

I agree 100% with everything in this post...

I was living in Georgetown in '98 when the Caps made a run at the Stanley Cup. I went to every home game. No sporting event I've been to since has come close....and this is the Caps I'm talking about here. I can't even imagine what its like for Canadiens fans and the like.

Exactly. I got hooked on a Caps-Penguins series a few years back. I already liked hockey - attending the event just made me nuts about it. Fantastic event.

I'm only a Cowboys fan because I love football, live in Dallas and find it best to find a team to root for. My family has always been a fan, so it was natural for me to.

I enjoy TX HS football quite a bit - pure football FTW. Not much of a college fan.

As far as other sports, I'm pretty fairweather about what Dallas teams are. I would guess the mavs, stars and rangers are my teams, but only when they are doing well.

I kinda follow TCU & SMU football because they are north Texas schools and I like them, but I wouldn't be called a fan.

Dallas Cowboys
Chicago Cubs/ Atlanta Braves
Chicago Bulls
Arkansas razorbacks, football, basketball and baseball

Dallas Cowboys
Boston Red Sox
Texas Rangers
Dallas Mavericks
San Antonio Spurs
Dallas Stars
Stephen F. Austin State Lumberjacks
Lufkin Panthers
Atlanta Rabbits

Cowboys, Panthers, Spurs, Braves, South Carolina and Clemson football teams

Cowboys-jumped on the bandwagon in '92
Spurs-idolized my dad as a kid, Navy man, and David Robinson immediately became my favorite NBA player, so I rooted for the Spurs then and now
Braves-closest thing to a pro franchise being a South Carolinian
Panthers-same as above, but I root for the Cowboys when playing them
Clemson and South Carolina-South Carolinian

Cowboys
Yankees- though I don't care for baseball
Mavs-though I don't care for basketball
Ric Flair
Penn State in college football

It fits into the grandfather clause...

I grew up liking the Spurs, long before Dallas had a team, so I am allowed to root for both...

It's biblical...
