No - all I was looking for was for you to answer the question "who do you think are the top 10 best drivers of all time" and you failed to do so. That was all I was looking for. I apologize, I thought it was a simple question.

I didnt feel the need to answer it really.

No need to apologize. We just share different opinions.

And in all honesty I've never thought about it enough to come up with my own legitimate top 10.

I used to go to a lot of races but now Im pretty limited to Daytona as a matter of convenience. I used to go to Dover, Richmond and Charlotte every year. Been to Darlington, Pocono, Michigan. Being at the races you see things differently than you do on TV. Earnhardt just did things other guys didnt. As a fan of his it was really fun to watch in person. For somebody racing now, Tony Stewart is similar in his car control and ability.

No Allison's? :lmao:

Many would put Pearson ahead of Gordon and even Earnhardt.

I'm assuming Rusty is in the top 10 because of his short track success?

Tony is a great driver, and maybe as just a pure skilled driver with car control he should be in the top 3 or 4 if not higher.

That's who I forgot..duh! Thanks

Exactly.

Did you notice the stands? Haven't seen them attendance that scarce in a long time.

That race was horrible.

Good job Jimmie.

even Bristol was half empty this year. I wonder when the TV contracts are up? Seems like Nascar is in trouble. The problem isn't just the economy either, Nascar is putting a boring product out there. A lot of tracks way overbuilt also. I guess Jr. leading the points will get the rednecks exited at least.

You're right, its not just the economy, although it is a factor.

The racing is boring for the most part.

There are really no rivals. No interesting personalities. Not enough side by side racing anymore.

And then factor in the cost to go to a race - its just not worth it anymore.
