Alexander was a scratch he got dinged in practice . As far as Wright he has a well played stride for stride down the sideline near end zone breakup plus a nice INT . Really his second game of the year I didn’t expect Lester Hayes. Dude should get better and better with more reps. KJ I would cut an hour after the season is over .
 
made a helluva play on the ball to seal it.
he just needs more reps.
he has a knack for being around the ball and with more experience...his length wil be a problem for receivers.
but i like his instincts when the ball is near him.

what got me was they don't even trust Joseph as a slot which could have moved out Bland as an outside guy ..

they want to avoid KJ on the field as much as they can .. until they have no choice.

Wright still seems like a JAG, despite the INT, .he got beat deep on one play.but he had one positive play on a deep bomb that he played well.
.. he was also helped out by key wide open drops by Titans WRs ....but we cannot get away with continuing starting him outside vs the better playoff QBs such as Brady, Rogers, Hurts, etc.
 
Can Dallas afford dumb ST penalties in a playoff game . I’m a lot more concerned with the holes KJ digs for this team then I am about a guy who had a pick last night and nice coverage on a go route to the end zone .

a bit late in the game for that ..got to hope the pass rush gets healthy and what not..not much to choose from with one game left and payoff game.cant be experimenting in the payoff game., have to trust DQ has an idea of who's best by this point. lets see the payoff roster and hope it can get right

odd how much we miss lewis and Brown..

Hankins, LVE, and 2 handed parsons should help LOL

Joseph is basically just eating a roster spot at this point. He's not even good on special teams right now picking up dumb penalties. He's a prime cut candidate IMO this offseason. Changes could be coming in the CB room. Bland could make Lewis expendable - Lewis can be cut this offseason and save $5 million in cap space. Brown is a FA coming off a serious achilles. Would they try to make Lewis or Bland an outside CB?

it wouldn't be Lewis, they like length and preferred size at the outside CB spot.
i guess if Wright is going to continue at the LCB starting role ..Bland will continue the slot, which means he won't see learning time at the outside this season.

Which likely means we will be going a starting CB within the first three rounds.

Lol I know. This thread is ridiculous. I think this all goes back to people that said that the Wright pick was a bad pick from day 1. At this point I'm thinking that it wasn't so bad after all. I like the length that he has. He can come up with picks in zone coverage because the qb will have trouble getting the ball over him like we saw last night. I also like the way he tackles. I think that he will make the most of his opportunities.
 
It’s up to Quinn to use the players on the roster and protect Wright to a certain extent. This probably starts with telling Diggs no more gambling and cheating Hooker to Wrights side and/or more two safety looks.

I may need to consider cutting back on the sauce during games, because I thought he wasn’t awful at all. In fact I expected much worse. He actually looks like he can play a little. Honestly, a guy like him needs reps and he is finally just now getting them.

Joseph with the penalties? Different story.
