I thought maybe I was taking tyron's injury a little too hard maybe making too much of it until I saw Nate Newton on national television.

He was being prodded by his friend Michael Irvin to try and say something positive about our offensive line.
Nate was flat out so disgusted that he said there was nothing good about the offensive line that Josh Ball was no good.

Michael kept trying his best to put a spin on it but Nate was having none of it he was flat out disgusted and made his feelings known on national television this was really telling to me as to the true state of our offensive line

This is why we should have drafted #Slater.

that defensive draft in 21 didn’t help the OL.

You can't fix a problem when you refuse to admit it exists or are too clueless to know it exists. Thats been the problem with Jerry and son running this team the past 27 years. There's always a gaping hole somewhere big enough to sabotage the season that they fill with pixie dust a lot of wishful thinking. Ball or Walesko at swing tackle was never a realistic solution to the problem but its the one the cowboys hung their hat on.

Spot on brother Jerry and his idiot son are in denial like you say this is why we are always short a piece of the puzzle.

I think they hope that one year they will just get lucky and the stars will align and other teams will just have so much misfortune that they will bumble their way through to a super bowl

Michael is a company man, glass half full kinda guy. He finally backed down and lowered the standard of evaluation to "make the team kinda good" not like the 90's cowboys kinda good.

Yet the haters will continue blaming Dak! The man literally has no time in the pocket/like Romo. Aikman wouldn't survive one season w/these lines being he was a pocket passer.

Nate should be careful...He already did one prison stretch and his next one could be in Siberia.

......once the season starts, Zeke will be blamed for the shortcomings from our OL. Book it.

And you guys continue to prove why it was a really dumb idea to pay Elliott all that money.

Well, I'm not quite so sure being "flat out disgusted" summarizes exactly what Nate said or inferred. I think he was a little more diplomatic than that. But, you are right in that he was clear that he thought their play was not good. But, did we need Nate Newton to tell us this? Alarcon was IMO horrible. Guy will never be an NFL player IMO even though some on here have actually called for him to start. Ball was his typical turnstile self. Neither should have any chance to be on the 53 after we scour the waiver wire and finish "churning the roster" between cut down day and week 1.

Luckily the one guy he mentioned as doing ok was Farniok who is probably the only guy who will actually be needed. So, in a way, it was good news to hear Nate's thoughts in a bizarre sort of way
