UT needs to come out and keep the foot on the throttle the rest of this game. They can not let USC get back into this and get any confiednce. USC has played better in the 2nd half of games, regardless of the perceived difficulty of the teams they were playing against. USC has enough weapons to score, so UT needs to stay a step or preferably 2 ahead of them in the scoring dept.

SC has been behind before during this great 34 game undefeated streak... I expect them to make the adjustments and come out and play a great second half....

I think USC will find their way back to pounding the ball w/ Lendale White. They were really wearing the TX defense down when they were mixing it up w/ him and reggie Bush.

They scored the majority of their points in the 2nd half of several big games.

What gives me hope is that USC cannot and will not get any pressure on Vince Young.

The Horns have one of the best offensive lines in college and way better than anything USC has seen.

What scares me is Pete Carroll and his Staffs playcalling.

I have really liked the way they call the game and keep defenses guessing. Some of USC designed run plays are really good.

Right now, I think USC knows they will not be able to just chunk the ball down the field on Texas.

I must admit, everytime Bush gets the ball I get scared....

I believe the players have settled in, I think UT really pours it on in the 2nd half. The 1st quarter was as bad as I have seen them play, even compared to the Oklahoma State Game.

But, I am still nervous about the SC offense.

They better start giving Lindale White the ball. They were very successful double blocking Rodderick Wright and getting up to the 2nd level.
