Im counting on them losing Hayward. Utah isnt a bad team and they can offer him the most. Word Griffin is there first fall back. Better talent and he fits a need for them, but so risky with his health. Im expecting Gallinari thoughPG-13 to Cavs still seems likely to me once LeBron cools off.
Hayward is intriguing. Boston seems likely to me.
I've generally seen players all sort themselves into a handful of elite teams.Im counting on them losing Hayward. Utah isnt a bad team and they can offer him the most. OKC is definitely going to have to be aggressive to keep Russ in the fold long termI've generally seen players all sort themselves into a handful of elite teams.
If that holds I think Boston holds more appeal than Utah.
Hayward is from Indiana and I'm guessing he has zero issues playing in the East.
I believe Griffin goes to OKC. It's his home town plus college town(well Norman is essentially a suburb) and he can play next to Russ in a PNR offense for the most athletic duo in all of basketball. Russ is an MVP obviously.
I think Hayward is most likely with Gallinari the true fall back.
But the best week in pro sports is on going. Everyone hang on for WOJ Scoops.
An sign and trade fell through with the Celtics and 76ers for Amir Johnson. The 76ers were gonna send them Jahlil Okafor. You know you are not well thought of when your name comes up in a sign amd trade for Amir Johnson.
Because Okafor is garbageMakes no sense why Sixers would send them Okafor. Why help the Celtics at the C position for the long term?
To expound more and to not just purely trash Okafor, who does have obvious talent:Makes no sense why Sixers would send them Okafor. Why help the Celtics at the C position for the long term?
How many games do the Timberwolves win this year?
I think they win just north of 50. Have the lookings of a 4/5 seed in the west
And its good to see them relevant. I hate watching these small market teams spend a decade plus in sheer irrelevance like they have post KG.They are interesting, that's for sure. In a vacuum, Teague provides better outside shooting than Rubio. But he's a low volume shooter from behind the arc. Millsap would have done the same, they could have kept Rubio who is a brilliant passer and a much better defender than Teague.
Millsap as the stretch 4, gives KAT slave to work inside, lanes for Butler and Wiggins to slash. JMO.
Good news for you Knicks fans. NY is no longer shopping Porzingis
No one is giving up 2 unprotected lottery picks for him (namely Celtics).
