George Hill going to Sac. Oh well....
George Hill going to Sac. Oh well....
Odd move. Isnt his skill set pretty redundant with Fox? And they arent winning anytime soon and thats not a whole lot of money for him to entice him to play in a **** box
These moves are odd for both the Kings and the players. The Kings need to maximize draft assets ( especially since they dont have a lotto in 2019) and these moves dont push them into playoff contention and at the same time hurts there 2018 lotto positioning. They need a franchise player and probably arent getting one for a while now. Only thing I can think of where it makes sense to me is they may be looking to add assets by moving them at the deadline, but Hill and Deebo arent going to net them something really substantial in tradeLooks like his agent was using the Lakers to up the offers from other teams. Want a bigger deal elsewhere, tease the Lakers with interest in a 1 year deal.
Honestly I think both teams would be better off not making that deal. With the Unicorn, Ntilikina, and Hermangomez, I think the Knicks are a good wing scorer away from a good young core. And next years draft features two excellent wing prospects in Porter and Doncic that are attainable for NY. And if the East is is weak as it is now ( it should be) Porter in particular could push them to a low seed if the Porzingis has broken the 24 ppg barrier and Ntilikina can 3 and D at the level expected.
And im not trying to troll you with 3 responses to the same post, really im not
I dont see Melo back. I can see a buy out and a Banana boat in Houston or Cleveland.I'm certainly glad we did not deal Porzingis. He's under control for too many years to deal him away just because he doesn't like the direction. If he was a year or two away from UFA, sure, but other than that, he's a no sell. I just hope we can move on from Melo, for no other reason than to give you guys some better competition for the #1 pick...
